Ahh Richard Beckinsale and vintage OT! I remember OT int he 70's. The crowd was like a massive animal that flexed it's muscle and bellowed in unison. Lots of Doc boots, donkey jackets and knitted red and white scarves!
Just watched this. I always remember the ticket office from pics i saw of OT as a kid in the 80s. VERY different now, and the ticket office is long gone. Interestingly the building opposite it is still there - its just visible behind Paula at1:37. Anyone tell me what that building is used for nowadays? It's beside the little kiosk that sells programs.
Bob Forapples No sir, Richard Beckinsale did the lovers, porridge, going straight,Rising Damp they were sheer class and wouldn’t Been same with Richard o Sullivan though Robins nest and man about the house were Great,, definitely Mr Beckinsale for me (Rip)
Only a straight man with no sense of humour could say that, because Richard Beckinsale was incredible sexy and incredibly funny. Richard O' Sullivan was not in the same league, in looks or talent!
One of my favourite films and an excellent theme song.

If he's coming from OT cricket ground....Why is he arriving at OT football ground from the opposite direction?
There is no football it’s cricket now. Well it’s the same thing isn’t? The look on Jeffrey.

@mrchopper No need for the asterix either - either swear or don't. Nowt wrong with a good saxon oath - why pansy it up?
Richard O'Sullivan was a similar type to Richard Beckinsale and O'Sullivan was better.
