Hey, quick tip on clothes in general, you can't really tell true quality until you wash the clothes. A lot of these may change in fit, soften/roughen, or even pill hard as you wash them. Brands have also shifted to providing multiple fits (such as relaxed or fitted) and multiple thicknesses (heavyweight, midweight, light, etc)

AG no longer replaces their garments when they fall apart and after a couple years, the cuff on my classic began to split. The more expensive storm hoodie has a plastic zipper and is lighter in weight than the classic. Not sure where the extra $$ is in the storm hoodie. Prefer the classic except for the poor sleeve cuff quality. Also have a mid weight RC hoodie and love it.

Was very suprised by white lady co becuase it looked great on you. If you're looking for more categories I would recommend chinos since there are so many great options ( everlane for budget and asket / norse projects for crazy quality). Btw, love the new iphone case!
Saint Laurent was great but for most people the Asket will be more than enough at a much lower price. That being said, my Saint Laurent one isn’t going anywhere haha
my fav of all time was a lighter weight reversible hoodie from Vince, sadly I wore it so much over a 5 year period it started to fall apart but they make pretty nice hoodies that aren't hard to get on sale. Clothing sales not doing so hot these days. James Perse is also nice but their stuff wears insanely quick.
@@asim yeah I’m not trying to sound rude. I think that most purchases over $100 should be for a jacket that hits more bases. My favorite would be the Arc’teryx Proton LT (I’m a rock climber.) but that jacket is incredible!

Lovely attention to detail and sturdiness. I also tried on a Saint Laurent Rive Gauche hoodie expecting that ‘wow’ factor but was left a little disappointed! There’s only so far you can go with a hoodie, it’s a basic essential. I don’t think the Saint Laurent hoodie offers good value for money, being heavily weighted by a designer label.
Great vid yet again! LWC hoodie is going to be one of my next purchases. Would love for you to take a look at Yeezy and Cole Buxton hoodies if you make a part 2.
Great video, I also own the AG and RC ones and I also tend to gravitate towards the AG one. For a round two I would love to see Aime Leon Dore hoodie since its 185 and 21 oz made in Canada, so overall seems like a decent price for a premium hoodie.

I'd love to see a video for best sustainable company overall. So many of the companies that make clothes that are eco friendly look like they are making clothes for cult members. I do not want to go live on a commune, I just want clothes that don't involve slave labor or the destruction of the environment.
@@asim You're absolutely wrong about this. A lot of luxury brands source their materials from forced labour and share little to no information about their sustainability practices. You should always do a quick search for info on that matter after having decided to buy something from a brand you're not sure about. It doesn't cost you much time, but sure is worth it!
Yeah I wasn’t trying to generalize with that statement. I always try to do my due diligence and run searches but when information isn’t readily available there’s not much you can do.

I've found champion really inconsistent on sizing. My white fits like discussed, my black fits like a small. Thank you for your sacrifice so I can skip some steps in upgrading.
Not sure if you mentioned the material you preferred, I might have missed it. But my go to is Luca Faloni cashmere hoodie. Great fit, great cashmere (same mill as Brunello Cucinelli).
American Giant makes a fantastic hoody. Pricey but very good construction, heavy and warm. Nothing feels cheap about their hoodys. I also have a Champion hoody and that thing is trash compared to the AG. Champion is 50% cotton and 50% poly with a ton of pilling. It’s too loose and baggy but I keep it as a beater hoody for gym workouts.

I just ordered the RC graphic series slim fit midweight autograph hoodie and sweatpants both in heather grey (satin stitch autograph logo embroidered on chest of hoodie and thigh of sweatpants). Yeah for sure but not much to it. Turning clothes inside out, washing on cold or warm instead of hot, and hang drying the expensive stuff seems to work the best for me. Not going to lie and say everything hasn’t hit the dryer at some point or another
Been a RC fan for a couple years. Own a hoodie, couple pairs of sweatpants, shorts. Great quality all made in Canada. Swear by the brand. If you’re overweight I’d look elsewhere.
I want to like American Giant (ordered a jacket from them), but the fit is sloppy and that hood is cartoonish. The Asket looks sharp, yet with only 4 colors that eliminates them. O My go to is Cuts. They have some incredible colors. The only problem is that that they are always cycling in new Colors and some seasons have nothing for me. They are my go to company for hoodies, henleys, t-shirt hoodies. Again, just hit and miss depending on the season.
Luckily Askets colors cover 90% of your bases. Cuts was slightly tight in the mid section when I bought a tee from them a year or two ago but I need to check out the rest of the lineup one of these days.

Sustainability is huge, not to generalize but for the most part as long as they aren’t fast fashion place, you’re normally okay
