As a newbie in fighting scene maybe add the controller button inputs as well. I have trouble reading the combos as I'm still learning the terminology. Would attract many more casual or new players to the videos.
It's part of the learning curve. It's not too bad when you know what they are. 9 positions on a pad. 5 is stick in neutral. 789 456 123 So to crouch is 2 To move forward is 6 Jump is 8 Etc. If you map that in you head It's not bad. Hope it helps.
Considering many players are new, it would be cool that you tell more about the combos, such as why to use one rather than another. The properties on block, etc. I think. Maybe im wrong. But for example, people will not necessarily the difference between 2L, c.Lx3, 214L, 214M, and the same but only 1 c.L followed by far medium > 214L > 214M. They will not understand it's a hit confirm, they will not understand they are different mix ups with a frame trap. That's a good occasion to teach those notions too. Even me, FGC veteran, don't know as im new to gbvsr
Thanks for the video! Idk if is just me, but i feel j.U timing for the cross up is a little bit weird. Been practicing this cross up and the attack takes a little bit longer to connect. I lost some matches because of the long animation of this move, but i'm gonna try j.M for cross up.
If you mean CH. It's a counter hit. c. Means close attack while f. Is far attack. It has different property depend your opponent near or far when you hit them
As starter learn auto combo like 5LLL into special / super for mid screen. In the corner just learn one route that use ex move like 5LLL > 214H > 5M > 236H > 5M > 623H / super
I feel like the terminology makes this hard for entry level people like myself not to sound ungrateful but why over complicate things when arrows and buttons make things much simpler to understand
Free Gran Mains are going to make good use of your guide. :)
