I found out what was happening to mine and may have happened to others. When you break the blocks to put down hoppers, water gets into the chamber where the villagers are, and then it breaks the torches so zombies spawn. So all you have to do is put down torches again
Also, Soul Campfires do more damage, so I would use them instead of normal ones. Let me add, you can tame 5 cats and put them beside the farm so the farm will not spawn cats anymore. You tame cats with RAW fish (not tripical). If your golems still spawn on the outside, just pathway the outside of your farm using a shovel. The amount you deicde to path is up to you. Just a few tips from personal experience, hope this helps someone.

For some reason for me the hoppers wouldnt connect to the chests when the chest was next to the hopper horizontally (unless i placed it wrong or something but i dont think i did) so i just moved the chest below the hoppers and it works like a charm! Had about 2 stacks of iron a half 20 min after making it
My villager babies teleport down to the bed during the night, but when they woke up, they were trapped between the bed and the fletching tables and it killed them. So watch out for that...
Awesome farm, works extremely well! Thanks for the tutorial! I unfortunately broke mine on day 1 by using grindstones as the workstation and breaking the block it was connecting to causing so many villagers to fall into one hole, struggling to try and fix it now and will probably need to breed villagers again which was the longest part 🫤 just a fair warning, if you want to trade with the villagers, maybe make a section for it first to be safe. The grindstone gives amazing trades for an iron farm.
It took a while to gather all the resources and build one and the farm itself is rather a bit slow, but it works like a charm! Plus it is also a semi string farm since the campfire kills the cats too! Thanks for this! 🙏
Interesting. I recall visiting a friend's iron farm a few months ago and it had both golems and cats spawning. The cats ofc died and gave nothing and the iron golems were making tons of iron. But he had a ton of villagers of every different trade in a square perimeter. Then minecart with a zombie inside moving around over and over on a rail road. And presumably the zombie scares the villages (who are trapped in place , I think between trapdoors?), and the iron golem spawns
I did everything the comments say if golems aren’t spawning and nothing has changed, there’s no caves no villages no breeders, I have no idea what’s going on
Make sure you don't have nit wits ( the green coat villager) if that doesn't work your villagers either aren't working at their blocks or not sleeping which is required another issue if your on bedrock the villagers will not spawn golem at night at least from what I've seen from afking another issue is the golems can spawn anywhere in a 18 block radius from your village center (the first bed you place)that's a cube BTW not a circle I've seen some people say they won't spawn above the village anymore but this video proves that wrong the best way to build this is 20 blocks above a ocean floor can't be a river and at least 100 blocks away from any bed including your players bed it will break the farm

- 46 blocks
- 2 torches
- 20 workstations (lecterns and barrels won't give iron during rainstorms)

- 3 signs
- 3 campfires
- 6 hoppers

if golems spawn outside dirt your paths all the way around because golems can’t spawn on those blocks so just make a large surrounding outline of dirt path
How did you fix it?
Why did it stop? I'm having the same issue pls help
It WORKSSS , infact it worked so well , it started working before I finished it lol , but I do recommend putting down the water last
just a question, i have very greedy friends on my minecraft server so is there anyway i can build this underground?
I have a problem. My farm isnt working no golems are spawning
@1upMC
Same, I only have cats
@KaiwunShowtime bro in my farm there is no cats no golems
@@YouAreNoob4Real I think you might have to be more patient for them to spawn, mine is working now cuz there's a cave right below the farm and there's zombies in it which makes golems spawn cuz zombies make villagers panic.
@@KaiwunShowtime is this automatic or i need to stay afk close to farm
20 villagers takes SO long to breed
Fr 😭😭
Just give the 2 villagers 2 or 3 stacks of carrots and they pop babies out every 1 min
@@SpeakersIsGodive stayed here for an hour and all my food is despawned
a few tips: tame cats around the farm and they wont spawn.
add fences around your farm to prevent mobs from interfering,
you dont have to add campfires and it works just aswell just be sure the golems can be pushed into the correct level to die in the lava
make sure the blocks in your collection hole are non spawnable aswell, my farm wasnt working but i replaced the bottom of my floor to the collection chamber with leaves and they stopped spawning down there.
I’ve tried everything, my farms still not working world difficulty on normal have between 12-18 villagers, can anyone please help me
You HALF to have 20
@@RossBishop-Nicol bro I accidently made 26 and still doesn't even work
@@Ninjapro1558only 20 😣😣
@@Ninjapro1558u have a trading hall or villager breeder next to it? If so, the iron farm must be 150 blocks away from these
If it doesn’t work for you on bedrock then build a tunnel around the villagers and put zombies in it. This makes the iron golems spawn a lot more at least 2 at a time
what materials do i need and how much of each?
Thanks bro , this is working in my survival😍😋
mine worked for a bit, then stopped…
me too
@@cartermillwood4544 same multiple times
Me too does anyone know how to fix?
@@alpzz8477 i fixed it by allowing the villagers to sleep and use their blocks
Same here? We have a water cave underneath but no iron golems spawned in there? Is it because i hit my villagers lol
The only iron farm that actually worked for me so thank you!
Do the villagers need to be adults for this to work? I got like 16 babies
I was thinking this too:(
yeah they need to be adults and you need 20 or more or else it won't work. dw about the babies though because they can just grow up
You know if you don't use campfire and add 2 more blok in water source. You can just use 1 hopper
This doesn't work. Nothing spawns in.
It is just for Bedrock
Ik but it still aint workin
Nvm it is ty
@@Itzmaster7what changed? Mine isn’t spawning
@@martinmedia5527 you need exactly 20 villagers/bed/workstations and need to do it close to a village also u need to be at the farm as well hope it helped
Hello i am playing on PS5 and i had a problem where the golem spawned inside where the villagers were and i put slabs on top i don’t know if it messed it up. (ps. i had to put the chest under the hoppers and i accidentally hit some of the villagers idk if i should include this) please help thanks
Can someone explain why it stopped working? And I noticed that it started working again only when there were more villager on the outside that I was using for trades, but I checked and on the inside of the farm there are 20 villagers
You need to let your villagers sleep.
Stay close to it at night, it should then work again.
If you leave the area at day, then be away for quite some time, then return during a day, the villagers didnt sleep for a very long time and then, they will not spawn anything.
@@IItzRepzwill it start working again if I afk the area for a bit
@@RoofRat62probably but maybe you'l need to stay there if it stil wont work
So this design was working and I may just be impatient but after the update today I’ve been afk for 20 minutes and no iron golems have spawned. The nearest villager breeder I just made is over 300 blocks away
I don't know how it works I did this and it doesn't spawn
😢
Same issue, built to spec and no golems??? I added dirt path around, I added bells and cats and zombies, still no golems
Same bro
Someone help us
@@beachdog2520so it could be that one of the villagers didn’t take a profession and it’s a nitwit (green clothes). I’ve seen before where you have to have 20 villagers with jobs in order for golems to spawn. If any of them are in green clothes, the golems might not spawn.
nothing spawn
Tip: don’t do this if your base is in the middle of an ocean. The golems will spawn in the water and apparently they don’t drown. So you’ll have like two and it won’t spawn any more than that as long as they’re still alive 💀😂
My base is on a mooshroom island I’ve been expanding. 🥲 any other land is at least 1,000 blocks away 😂
20 blocks above the sea floor made the same mistake. Also, the golem can spawn on the bottom half slabs 😮 yea who knew apparently the rely on air space lol kinda like gast in the nether
for some reason it worked in my creative world but not my survival world? dont know why it would make a difference. (this is the smaller farm)
Make sure its far away from any existing villages, breeders or iron farms. if it is, there may be a cave or something the golems spawn in that stops them spawning in the farm
Was your world on easy mode?
Or any mode with hostile mobs
Awesome, works really well
Mines isn’t spawning the golems for some reason can someone help
Idk but I think you can't have it on peaceful
It has to be 150 blocks away from any villagers villages or beds
I would help but u have a skibbidi toilet profile pic
@@Thomasthetackmasterpersob wait my farm is not working too I think I built it 100 blocks away from my breeder so whatt should I do now? Kill the villagers in my villager breeder?
If you’re having trouble collecting the iron in the first one just put hopper minecarts under the campfires
It was working until I got a stack of iron , then it stopped working. Is there something I did wrong?
same
Similar thing for me. I got 3 or 4 stacks of iron, then it just stopped. I tried reconnecting the beds but that is not working. Any ideas?
@@N0VA29ytwas working fine for me but my iron golems have suddenly started spawning (with cats) in my house and just outside which is about 60 blocks away from the farm / villagers…..
Any ideas??
@@BondyyBlue07 I would probaly want to move either the house or the farm. it’s most likely just too close. Also check if there are any workstations in between your house and the farm
@@N0VA29yt might try and delete all workstations and any beds in the house and see if it changes anything - they’re always spawning around the similar location in the house or just outside - thanks for the suggestion 👍
If your having truble with the water
Just place more blocks in that pattern if needed ❤

What's the issue?
You probably have a cave within 16 blocks under the farm that's happened to me befor
@Cristian-wx7bw he probs has a unlit cave under the farm
How do i fix it @@alfiejones7683

Yeah same no clue tho
Try moving it over an ocean or an opened place, make sure there is no caves atleast 20 blocks underground or just try building one floating in the air
@@nanbanxd thanks man!
@@nanbanxd do I have to have 20 villagers ?
Got a fellow LOST fan judging from the build channel name lol
The viligars are not sleeping
The villagers aren’t connected with their bed so break the bed the usually slept in until you see green particles above the bed you want the villager to be connected to
Built mine 290 blocks in the air. Used kelp to build a bubble elevator up to mine. Afk'd for 5 hours after and ended up with a little over 700 iron! I also used red stone dust to throw on all my fletching tables so the only spawnablw area was the platform i made for the roof.
Are you paying people to say it works bc wtf. I’ve seen this farm everywhere and it does not work.
This farm does work I recommend building on an ocean make sure there are no other villages in a 100 block radius also reduce your chunk simulation distance of that doesn't work toggle from peaceful to hard but should work on peaceful
No iron golems are spawning?
3:18 you monster >:( u kill cats? go get him felow cats
Thank you bro a farm that actually works
can I cover the top of the farm?
I would but slabs or something so the iron golems don't spawn up there but it should work

Do the villagers have to be grown or already?
Question, I left the area of where my iron farm is but now I’ve returned iron golems aren’t spawning? Anyone know why?
could be spawning underground in cave
Works really well. If you are using baby villagers make sure you go down and look at then if it's not working. I had a baby villager turn into a nitwit Soni had to kill em. It also kills zombies that fall into it.
I did and it worked then randomly stopped working
