Losing shane sucked. 10 years ago i had tickets to a festival and the pougues were on the list of bands, but the fest didnt sell enough tix so it was cancled. Broke my heart. Like 25 years ago i saw a documentry about shane called " if i fall from grace of god" i had never heard of him. I fell in love with that goof that night. Such great songs. Never another shane.
I am a 51 year old woman and miss him more every day, though I never really followed his work. But it is infectious how wonderful he is with people, and singing, Shame that he has not been nicer to himself.
