Once you try making these croissants, you’ll want to bake them over and over. I absolutely love them, and I’m sure you will too. Give it a try!
    Recipe for 12 Croissants:
    Ingredients:
    Flour - 500 g
    Salt - 10 g
    Dry yeast - 8 g
    Sugar - 60 g
    Milk - 150 g
    Water - 150 g
    Butter (in the dough) - 40 g
    Butter (for layers) - 240 g
    Egg yolk - 1 pc
    Milk - 0.5 tsp
    Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, yeast, and sugar.
Warm the milk and water slightly, then add them to the dry ingredients along with 40g of softened butter. Knead the dough until smooth.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1-2 hours in a warm place.
Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a large rectangle.
Spread 240g of cold butter evenly over the dough and fold it, rolling and folding several times to create layers.
Refrigerate the dough between folds to keep the butter firm.
After the final fold, roll the dough out and cut it into triangles.
Roll the triangles into croissant shapes, starting from the wide end.
Let the croissants rise for another 1-2 hours until they double in size.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Brush the croissants with a mixture of egg yolk and 0.5 tsp of milk.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
Enjoy your fresh, homemade French croissants!
