This is absolutely correct. You definitely got a deal for 250dh. That jellaba is worth at least 400dh even for us locals. Again, supporting small local businesses was a good play. Don't always think that vendors are out to get you, though. Not everyone is the same.

A very good country to visit, I have been to marrakech every month from the last 6 months and going again a week tomorrow. Weather is banging hot this time of the year. Just be careful and aware of your surroundings and you will be OK.

As a Moroccan I would say the dress is worth 300 dirhams, so 25 Euros was quite a good bargain. 20 was a little too low though, it is nice to bargain but please do not try to rob people. Many will sell you on cheaper than usual prices hoping that you would spread the word about their shops.
