Hi there... Your comment caught my eye when you said your writing goes to the left, from my research its called 'back slant'... My writing has improved alot by using fountain pens these last few year but,,, I cannot correct this back slant no matter what I try. Even returning the paper 45 degrees makes no difference. When I get excited writing about something the quality suffers and the back slant is readily seen... I wonder if you've tried to write someway with a right slant??? Lez Cartwright Hi Lez, first of all lovely to meet another person whose handwriting slants to the left ... I've never tried to "correct" this so I may not be able to help you, but I guess because in school I got interested in the different font styles and tried to copy them by doing drills for hours on end, over time I have much more "flexibility " in terms of being able to change the style of lettering ... But without thinking or hesitation, when I write it is left slanted ... I have the same issue when it comes to writing fast, but I've seen that printing or all capitals helps me more for legibility. I've never tried to correct my handwriting but any change in letter forms has only come through repeatedly practicing... Especially writing in capitals, that's been very helpful for me to increase control and develop the muscle memory needed.... I try and do at least half an hour to an hour each day of drills.. It's practice and relaxing as well ... Sort of getting into the zone ... I'm trying Spencerian since at least a year and a half, I used guidelines that some calligraphers have generously provided online to get the letter forms and inclination set and it's just been daily drills for me to get the muscle memory developed ... I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help or provide a clear solution for you .. 🙏

Thanks for the review. BTW: Visconti Opera Master, perfect size pen!
I must agree, Leonardo pens are really big thing this year. I personally have Momento Zero Hawaii and absolutely love it. The resin is not from this word and pen (I have F nib) writes beautifully smooth (tyo some maybe too smooth). Great value for money.
I was trying to figure out what was different, and I realized you have new glasses or are wearing a different pair than usual. They're nice! Good GOAT video as usual.
JPL: Pens from 2018 aren't worth it!
Sbrebrown: Greatest Pens of ALL TIME Fountain Pens 2018
No Montblanc 😢😢😢
Well; Mr. Brown you just cost my $$$! I looked up the Leonardo pens and bought the passion red with steel nib. If it writes half as good as the picture on the web site I will be delighted.
Good reviews.
What are you drinking?
When you say - first serious pen I bought, what exactly do you mean? For you where is this boundary between serious pens and not so serious?
Congrats on your NY Times story!
Love my Genkai! All but one of my Japanese urushi/maki-e pens are from Danitrio. I hope the rumor about them disappearing truly is a rumor.
Who dislikes these videos!?
I don't know why, but I am really taken with that Cross, 'Boba Fett' scribe. Excuse me whilst I wipe the dribble from my chin, Stephen - Thank you, Sir !! :D
You make a mighty fine review video Stephen! However, one is not amused with the boring background since you moved. Hundreds of ink bottles and paper and stuff is far more interesting than cupboard doors! lol. :D
+1
I keep hoping that they brought all that stuff with them and that we're just waiting for them to get around to unpacking.
Richard Barnes there is also a lot of reverb due to the sparseness of the room. No a good sound or look.
N Dawkins lo
carolyn rhea drapes almost as poor as your grammar ... no, I only focus on the content, and it’s good; and your content sucks!
greatest of all time... 2018... ^_________^;
(sorry, couldn't resist)
Iemand heeft een nieuwe bril volgens mij;)
