Definitely go watch the live version of this song. Same song, different delivery of the lyrics. I'm glad you saw this one first, though.
I know you like Small Town Titans ... they have a great song called, "Day That I Die" that gives encouragement like this to help people fight their demons and addictions.
I feel sometimes like Disturbed can't win. They've been around 20+ years and have matured, along with their music. So they explored some different types of songs, like this, and the purists bashed it and said they wanted their old Disturbed back. This latest album is a return to heavy stuff (still good messages) and only one slower song. Now people complain that it's a retread. I wish Disturbed would break free of the enslavement to specific fans and just explore all the creativity at their disposal, no matter what came out. I would buy every track!
This entire album is full of songs like this. Plenty more of these to go. 😁
