- This has to be the easiest way to smooth your wall and get it ready for paint, wall paper, or trim work. Using this method for wainscoting will give you a good smooth surface to paint and won't raise the thickness of the wall like using a hardboard would.

Thank you. That was great. I would really like to get rid of my textured walls. This looks much easier and less messy than skim coating, IMO.
I really appreciate this video being here for me. THANKS
I’m about to use this in my bathroom. Thanks for demoing this
Thanks
please tell me how long after gluing the lining paper can wallpaper be glued?
Great video. How textured were your walls before? Do you think this would work for very heavy texture?
Can you please put a link to the materials you used?
My eyes hurt watching this video but I must admire that you had the guts to do it even with no idea what you were doing 👏🏽
When you want to spend more time and hassle getting an inferior result to just skim coating then this is the method for you lol
@@WideAwakeHuman so skim coating is better?
@@WideAwakeHuman There's no way that skim coating is less time and less hassle.
@@WideAwakeHuman There is absolutely no way that skim coating is easier, cheaper, or a better way to do this. Skim coating is so much more difficult.
Would you use this if you were just painting?
I’m doing this but only noticed some bubbling after priming. The bubbling is not at the seams but in the middle of one of the sheets. Do you have any advice on how to fix that? Bc it isn’t at the seam, I’m not sure adding the wall compound would fix it.
Can you use this on textured Concrete walls
Seam crack overtime? Would seam tape be better
This is brilliant but I wanted to see what kind of texture you had on the walls before you did this.
Can you show how textured your walls were before this?
good video, thanks for sharing! looks like this would be the easiest way to get rid of textured walls. how rough was the wall prior to installing the wall liner? and how smooth after install?
The walls were overly textured and it came out relatively smooth. If you have texture over a couple millimeters thick then this method probably wouldn’t work very well
im not a genuis but a bucket of water beside you would of worked
