Hey man. I always only use hard clear phone cases for this, doesn’t matter which brand, as long as it’s a reputable brand, you should be good buddy 😃
To be honest, OP12R is priced a little high. Its competitor like the Xiaomi 13t/pro and Vivo V30/pro have more reasonable prices.

I'm liking the battery performance of the 12R. But I also like the useful Galaxy AI features on the S23.
Because of the Galaxy AI as you mentioned, the S24 would be better in terms of software, cameras on this was a better for me on this OnePlus 12R and the screen too 😃
I'm a past base S23 user. Upgraded to the Ultra model few months ago because I needed the extra battery capacity and a bigger screen as I'm more of a heavy user.
To be honest, OP12R can't really be compared to S23 as they are designed for 2 different types of customers. Budget flagship and true flagship. It depends on what are your priorities when deciding which one to get (Battery size/ charging speed/ camera performance/ water resistance rating/ screen size/ pocketability).
Advantages of OP12R:
-An extra generation of Android update (until Android 18)
-LTPO display
-4500 nits peak brightness
-bigger display
-Has IR blaster
-Alert slider
-Bigger battery
- Faster charging
Advantages of S23
-Smaller form factor
-Lighter weight
-IP68 water resistant
-Better camera with telephoto 3X zoom lens
-Better video recording (8K30fps on the back; 4K60fps on the front cam)
-Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner
-Galaxy AI & Samsung Dex
-Wireless charging & Reverse wireless charging
Pricing wise, it depends on where you're buying the device. If you're buying the S23, I would not encourage to buy directly from Samsung store as they're always "money-hungry" 😂. Buy from trustable sellers on Shopee like "Mobile Gadgets" instead (they sell genuine products, don't worry). As of now, the S23 256gb model is priced at around RM2499. On the other hand, the OP12R would be RM3000+. Hope this helps😊

Only 1080p/30fps on front cam is crazy for it's price 💀💀💀
I have seen smartphone brands which has 4k front video but the dynamic range is no where near as 1080p cameras like this . It’s not all about the resolution my dear friend 🙂

@@AdamLoboTV COD Mobile... Diablo Mobile... Some other high frame games.. actually the touch sensitivity is higher than the 12 version.. that makes a huge difference in my opinion.. plus a better optimization..
