Seafood dishes are my specialty and I make coconut curry shrimp quite often. How I get the sauce to thicken up is I cook the veggies in the curry first. Then I go ahead and add the coconut milk, but I let that sauce simmer down until it gets to the desired thickness. Then you add your seasoned shrimp in the sauce and allow the shrimp to cook and soak up the flavours of the sauce. Turns out perfect every time.
I do agree, Range Rovers, Land Rovers are cars that should be leased and not financed for all the reasons you have stated. My advice is find a mechanic other than the dealership that can do basic services like beaks and oils changes. I drive a foreign car also so trust me I get it!!!!

I literally have my mechanic come to my house and fix all my things. So I don't wait at the dealership any longer lol I just had my alternator fixed in my front yard and it has been driving beautifully and I get all my parts from ebay so he can just put them in. So definitely look into making your life easier.
girlll I just had to replace my rear brake pad too but I cut the price the dealers told me by more than half by buying the parts from Auto Zone and going to a local mechanic - def advice to not pay what they tell you at the dealers b/c more than half of that price is just for their hand
If you want to thicken your curry gravy, you can drop a a little four in there while cooking or if you like potatoes, chopped fine potatoes, and that will help to thicken up the sauce!

Tajah, now, you know you can’t take a car to the dealership for ANYTHING w/out them charging an inordinate amount of $ for repairs that may or may not be needed!! GET A 2ND OPINION!! Even if the need is valid, the dealership will inflate the prices. You can get that same quality work, if not better because the dealerships are actually starting to have some questionable mechanics too, knowledge wise; at a quality repair shop for less. A-rated with the BBB is a good start if Googling somewhere. Read reviews!! Edit: Sis, I’m not yelling at you, sorry. It’s these dealerships. They’ve been getting over on people for years. Especially if you come in there w/out a male. Those prices were diabolical!

Sis never take your car to the dealership to have service,they’re always going to fine some else that needs fixing,has a single woman I suggest you have your owe mechanic that as experience fixing all cars, where you can take your car to for service, these dealership will make you replace parts that don’t really need to be replaced for another year or two 😏
I own a Porsche and that was one of the worst purchases I’ve made. Over the years I’ve learned to only take it to the dealership if there is a major issue. Everything else can be done by a certified specialist. My ex was a luxury mechanic and I eventually learned my dos and don’ts moving forward. Only lease luxury vehicles. And if you want something close to luxury, then purchase a Lexus.
I have a RR and I have had mine for over 10 years. With luxury vehicles if you are leasing then take to the car dealership for maintenance. If you are purchasing then you take to the dealership for the first 2 years then find a certified auto repair shop that specializes in RR repairs. Outside of the dealership the RR repairs are half the price. REMEMBER when you take the vehicle to the dealership you are not only paying for the repairs you are paying for the building, employee salaries and the building of another dealership.
