The original title is "ヤマト渦中へ" which is roughly "Yamato, Into The Whirlpool" or, more apt for a spaceship, "-Vortex"; I prefer "-Maelstrom" myself. "Yamato, Into The Maelstrom" sounds better to me, and seems more appropriate to the Yamato and its crew.
