The largest Rueda de Casino Guinness Record Aristotelous Thessaloniki Greece 1 6 2014

1st of June 2014, 1102 dancers gathered in Aristotelous Square in Thessaloniki, Greece, to break the Guinness World Record of the Largest Rueda de Casino....
And guess what... They did it!!!! They managed to dance for 7:16 minutes , all synchronised to the beat of the Salsa.
Congratulations to all the participants , who made it come true!

It’s not difficult to get sync because every step has a name and the leader of the Rueda is the one who “sings” the name of the step dance that followss next so everybody knows what have to do.

No deberian llamarle la rueda de casino mas grande del mundo, en realidad son varias ruedas bailando al mismo tiempo y nunca ninguna de ellas interactua entre si.. Fuera la rueda mas grande si todas las parejas formaran un solo circulo..

Anita van Blerck it's not a matter of praktice....
actually it's matter of knowing how to dance this speciffic dance and listening very carefully to the man who shouts the steps...!

Anita van Blerck I assume they publish the figures in some website, then you have to meet with smaller groups at your neigborhood and practice-
the rest is just meeting with all this bunch of people and doing it on large scale.

You don't need to practice for the event itself. There is a guy announcing what to do next. Most of it you could probably do after half a year of weekly Salsa training
