Love your videos man you bring back the memories of the good old days the young people now missed a great time things are so different now I trained 3hrs a day after doing my homework and with the guys on Saturdays and opened my own school from 92 - 99 teaching the poor kids in the neighborhood I wish those days never ended

Charles, just wanted to say again how much I've been enjoying your videos! I can completely identify with yours and Hectors passion and influence from Bruce, like you guys I was able to hang on to my original collectibles from my start in the 70s, but was in the PI during that time. I had to play catchup when we got in the states in '76 which mostly involved the kung fu monthly publications, I'll have to dig up a couple of mags I bought while in PI which one of I've been able to keep near mint. Keep up the great work, you are an inspiration to those of us that hung in there from childhood, many of my friends lost interest over the years and moved on to other things, but Bruce was much more than a martial arts actor to me and all of your fans. One of these days I would be greatly privileged to approach you to do an episode of My Bruce Lee journey! Take care my friend, Bruce Lee Lives!

@@CharlesDamianoBLC oh, myself?.....we'll i heard of the great bruce lee as a small child and Brandon lee the in "Crow" so after that amazing experience i saw i noticed more of Bruce his father. So how it really began for me was in the FIRST mortal kombat. If you look at the story of that it matches a ton of Bruce Lee's fims. So, Lot of people said told me how great his father's movie's we're.So i did check em out and was blown away. I STILL haven't seen anyone who could match his speed both on film and in real life. His beliefs and spirituality i came to understand as i got older and i really became inspired by him...thats what happened. My favorite movie actually besides all of them has to be the Orginal cut of "game of death" i mean the incomplete one that he stopped to do "enter the dragon" we'll game of death basically a real life version of mortal komat. The ending boss was mysterious and powerful. And it's still shrouded with mystery today as to what was actually at the top of the pagoda. I know Bruce probably knew. Glad you liked my comment i can tell Bruce was a huge influence on you guy's that's amazing. Btw, if you liked my praise of thing's you should see the saying at end of this bruce lee dvd box set documentary i have. It's my favorite philosophy quote from Bruce lee let me find it for you...

That discussion regarding the haircuts had me laughing.

I too did the thing regarding bringing the photo to the Barber's.
Mine wasn't too good.
It's so nice to hear such memories of a bygone era that sadly has gone, but won't ever be forgotten.
The 70s was such a great time, and I remember them with love, although I was still young then, and I got into Bruce in 82.
I've got that auction magazine, and some wonderful items sold.
It's a shame they didn't go into a museum don't you think.

Enter the dragon was the most iconic movie of Bruce. He nailed it.
My frustration until I lost my Bruce Lee magazine that I bought in 1973 in a Chinatown here in the Philippines and published by jafaha publication. I had 3 magazines then different topics of Bruce from big boss to enter the dragon. I saved my allowance bought it for 25pesos then per magazine (about 5cents in dollars now)

Wow that Ted Wong I would have like to train with in one of his seminars. He does have the Bruce Lee feeling the way he moves, in the right sense. He is not imitating. I rain aside Dan Inosanto in 2 seminars, but he moves like Danny, althought his stories are great to listen to about Bruce Lee. Dan is his own man now and he is a proficient martial artist with a heart of gold. JDK was meant to find your own way. Still, from all the students of the first Generation, Ted moves like the JKD we saw in movies. I would have also liked to train in nJKD with Jerry Poteet. He seemed like a nice guy and knowledgeable in JKD. But I left my nest a bit too late to know this man in their prime. I was born just 2 months before Bruce Lee's passing.

Awesome segment. Regarding the late Brandon Lee- Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Rapid Fire" is what I love about Brandon Lee. Yes, one can see elements of his Father in the fight sequences. And as far as marketability, that sexy mofo would have definitely outstripped Jean-Claude Van Damme by miles!!! And, this man was so down to Earth, Bobby Brown would have had to take notes (I met Mr. Brown right before he shot the video for "Every Little Step"- sooo down to Earth-in the Village).

South Bronx Southern Blvd/Hunts Point area. 3 movie theaters to choose from on same block literally! 3 movies starting at 11am for like 75 cents? or 1.OO dollar? Can't remember, so long ago. Hey, Pizza was like 35 cents, lol. Great content brings back nostalgic memories of my childhood. Side note, I took am int bb'ing, still am. Since you lived in lower east side was wondering if you ever trained at NPC gym on 11th and 3rd. That was my go to gym. Take 5 or 6 train get off at 14th Union Sq and two blocks down was the gym, across was the Post Office and Town Hall dance club? Anyways, thanks for the content. Keep Bruce Lee's spirit alive. Bob was still with his wife Nellie, I think that was her name, then he divorced and Nicole and Bob became a hot item. Bob would always get me front row at Beacon Theatre for the NOC. I remember Bob asking me to help load U-Haul with dumbbells and barbells from the gym late night the Mr.O, next day which I went to and seeing Haney was special. I know I went a bit off topic but man, this Bruce Lee channel is awesome as I TOO was a big fan, so seeing these vids is truly special. Lots of great reveals and testimonies. Meeting Linda Lee and Shannon Lee must have been crazy! I would've past out seeing Shannon, lol! As far as NYC, I just recently moved to FL, escaping the tyranny and communism, couldn't take it anymore so headed to free state of FL. I still have family, my daughters and grandson. Definitely gonna sub! Keep the awesomeness going! Maybe we can do epic bb'ing segment on 80's bb'ing era, lol! what a time to be living back then. Such a stark contrast to what's going on nowadays. Fantastic episode! Morning coffee and 50 minutes of grinning at you two going back and forth! Many of us oldschoolers can relate to your stories Charles. I found myself self reflecting as this episode played out. Bruce Lee sure packed a lot into 32 short years of life. I too named my first son Brandon to honor Bruce. My Brandon was born three days before Bruce's birthday 11/24/85. He almost made it to the 27th lol! I love the passion you two so openly exhibit. Charles your bodybuilding transformation was simply amazing and this episode in particular struck a nerve with me and i must say is my favorite episode. You have brought interest back to Bruce Lee. Your shows have actually impacted prices on eBay LOL! I've noticed over the last couple of years that some of the episodes on particular items you show, instantly become sought after! Enter the Dragon was my first movie I saw of his. Just loved it... I seen it more than any other movie.. I watch parts almost every day. It was a movie ahead of it's time.. Bruce was so ahead of his time... I majored in philosophy also like Bruce. Physics too. My sister shares the same birthday as Bruce Lee.. as does Jimi Hendrix.. another huge fan I am of his. Brandon Lee I am a fan too. He happened to die on my Birthday. March 31, 1993... In North Carolina of all places filming the Crow..I had such high hopes for Brandon... I was 2 when Bruce Lee died.. but Brandon I was 5 years younger. I deeply hurt when he died.. it's so cool you got to meet Linda and Shannon. Your a true fan and you keep him alive ... Sensei Charles san, Lee Siu Lung fought some Thai boxers in Thailand. The Thai boxers were very angry that he beat them. I would like for you to do a story on Travador Ramos the guy who beat Lee Siu Lung twice before Lee Siu Lung did Enter the dragon. Be water sensei Charles san.

Another excellent video. By far the best channel on Bruce Lee. U and Hector could set up your own Bruce Lee museum with all the stuff u both have. I'm starting to believe though that if u and Hector haven't seen the 'saw in head' scene then it doesn't exist anymore 😢

When I saw "The Big Boss" in a theater in Nashville in 1973 the saw thru the head scene was included. I have never understood why it has been removed from all later copies. Considering the violent scenes in movies today or since then I don't know what the big deal is. I found a great sensei and was in a karate class the following week after seeing that first movie. I am still practicing to this day. Like you I first saw Bruce in the Green Hornet in 1966 when I was 13 years old and said, "I have to learn how to do that" and then that first film hit and that was it for me. Bruce inspired it all. I have paid my respects at his grave in Seattle a couple of times.

@@CharlesDamianoBLC I have a few collectable items. Nothing on the scale of yours and some others I have seen. I am good friends with JR Goodman who is a major collector and is responsible for rescuing the Black Beauty. As for the saw to the head scene. I started with bootleg VHS tapes of that movie WAY back in the day but none of them had that scene. It's pretty tame next to some of the other splatter in that movie. I have never seen it explained why that was removed.
