I was watching another documentary about Versace's killer and was wondering why Versace didn't have security guards. This documentary answered my question. In Miami, at that time no-one bothered the well known.

I definitely recall our Bible telling us “not to judge others “ & why which why I make it a point not to judge gay people. That’s between them & their God & that’s where I leave it. I love everyone including you…just as our Bible me to.🙏🏾♥️💐

Maybe it was the fashion industry or the mafia that killed him...or even the government..who knows but i believe Gianni is really dead unlike some people in the comments who think he is alive and hiding, to me it doesn't add up.. Gianni was a genius that is for certain, rip Gianni

His clothes he’s were not that expensive when GV first started, well not as expensive as in the early 90’s with the silk shirts. I bought a flannel grey no collar short at this small novelty store for about $35. This was 81-82 and I guess GV was trying to get his clothes in any store he could. I think the label said Gianni Versace Design.
A few years later GV was getting some attention for his clothes and design and before that, hardly anyone knew who he was. I only noticed GV for his wild design in the Italian men’s vogue ads in the early 80’s.
When he launched he’s first women’s perfume in 82, he made a appearance at Macy’s San Francisco and I went to meet him. I told him I wanted to get in the fashion business and he just said good luck and signed something, I don’t think he spoke English very well in 82. He had very soft hands. I found out from one of the fashion directors at Macy’s that he was having a private fashion show at the St. Frances hotel, but it was sold out. They said they would let me know if there’s any cancellations. So a few hours later they called me from Macy’s and said I would be able to buy a ticket for $50. I rushed to pick up the ticket and had to buy a GV item to wear. I wasn’t rich and don’t even have a job and only 18 years old. But I found this great 3/4 jacket in turquoise color marked down to half price in my size with a broken zipper. So I showed up all dolled up and everyone else was pretty conservative and in suits.
Anyway, I love discovering ppl. before the rest of the world eventually did and again I was right about GV. Back then, when you were into new great things, the rest of the world thought you were weird bc of the mindset of ppl. back then. When I wore GV back then before ppl. knew about him, ppl. thought I was a freak and strange. Glad ppls. minds are finally opening up after 40 years.

In my country Italy gay men are generally accepted as long as they talk & act like real men & are discreet, but not the passive effeminate flamboyant gay stereotypes, they're still being made fun of & sometimes even killed. I'm Italian living & working in Singapore, it's the same ballgame in Singapore

One of the dituationd with describing our surroundings is we may not have as complete an experience or understanding just is there. So when people are other than what we tolerate then it might not be as universal as what something is in reality 24/7. Even all of a sudden fires and is not able to clean up ur environment your picadillo may be exposed.

He was a great designer but I prefer Armani the classic designer. I love classic designs such as he made and not so many colorful designs. Sometimes not flattering to some body types
Color is beautiful you add that with an accent.

AMANI is my Designer, he dressed Laura Pausini beautifully for her concerts. He attends his store in Milano, and l saw him and talked to him. He is a man of the folks. You can buy many his clothes for normal prices. Despite he has also a lavish lifestyle he is unpretentious, shy, humble. Anyway some of Versace’s clothes l liked, the not so colourful ones, more decent, as l hate the Ego-driven attention seekers. People, who are creative, confident about their purpose in life don’t need this type of attention trough fashion. If you are young and beautiful, you can wear a rug, and you will shine.
What l admire the most in Designer clothes are the exquisite materials, well made, and they hang on for a lifetime. Thank you.
