- Della Reese is an American actress, singer, game show panelist of the 1970s, one-time talk-show hostess and co-starr of a former top-rated network faith-based series, "Touched By an Angele." Now, known as Dr. Rev. Della Reese-Lett, she is also an ordained minister, associated with a Church in Inglewood, California.
Ms della Reese was one of the greatest ever!!!

That interview was my most favorite-- simply splendid. I wasn't aware, however, that I saw it many years ago until Della got to the story of when her mom prayed for bread. It was her best story. When she confessed she thought "her mother was a witch" I nearly fell over laughing. Della Reese was a definite gift from God to all of us. Had no idea she was a minister. I have looked at her teachings from Upchurch and they
are the greatest principles to live by. I wish I could have met this wonderful sister in Christ, and I even have a nickname I want to call her when I move to Heaven: Reesie Cup!! Rest in peace, dear heart.
