    1. At 2:38, are you sure that the default value of flex-direction is column?
    When I remove the flex-direction property from .container selector, the cards align in a horizontal fashion as if the flex-direction property is row.
    2. Also, at 4:25, you said that the default value of the flex-direction of the child element is opposite of the parent one.
    I'm not sure if I have misunderstood the statement, but I'm not able to replicate that on my browser. Would you please elaborate on that?

      Nope. I misspoke. ROW is the default direction for flex-direction.
      For normal HTML display: block elements the flow direction is column.

    Hi Steve, I have a doubt, I saw some videos on flexbox, they said flex-container height should be defined to use align-items property. What is your opinion on this? How you created a flexible layout without defining height to a flex-container?

      I rarely use height in a layout. Dynamically figure out widths and then let the browser determine the height. Unless you have a reeeeeaaaallly good reason to force a height
