- WAMX 3894, WAMX 6024, WAMX 6023, and WAMX 4223 ease the T4 south, down it's final miles on CN's Waukesha Sub. About a mile south, this train diverges onto it's home rails. This was filmed on Mooreland Boulevard in Waukesha, WI. I haven't been uploading a lot lately, I have been busy with other things and haven't caught a lot of trains. I decided to catch the T4 this morning because it was the only thing running! I also like catching the T4. This morning, it had a GP38 leading! It's been a minute since a GP lead this train. Trailing was 2 SD60M's, and 4223! 4223 seems to make the T4 rounds pretty often, and I love it! It has an SD45 carbody, with the guts of an SD40-2. Interesting unit for sure! All 4 units were in some dynamic brake position, making that awesome sound! Very nice train to catch on a Saturday!
Nice mixture of power plus the variety of freight cars made for a decent consist .. that rusty old Garvey Grain car was a true classic
Thanks! I had to go back and find that car. Suprised, I didn't notice it.
Nice catch! Amazing how I was just at this crossing a few weeks ago and your here again! Lol. That aside, glad you got your lucky catch there! Its always interesting seeing Wisconsin and southern locos lead a train on a CN line. Ive also been noticing that these specific locomotive E-bells are starting to become more common amongst these trains. Has WSOR been installing these recently or are they original?
Thanks! Since I live in Waukesha, a lot of my videos are from here, which makes sense that we crossed paths (kinda). In regards with the bells, they are not original. All of WSOR's units had the classic steel bell which worked perfectly fine. In 2021, these new Ekyrail E-Bells started showing up. Funny enough, WAMX 4178 (a former Milwaukee Road unit) had its bell right behind the conductors window, and a new E-Bell was put underneath the conductors side of the cab, an now that unit has 2 bells!
@@SEWisconsinRailfan Interesting. Kinda silly to have 2 bells on one loco. I mean unless you want twice the sound of a train bell then maybe? LOL. I'd imagine though that only one is used.
Yea, it's only the E-Bell that works.
