    *DISCLAIMER: Please note that if you are developing bare metal on your Arduino board all available memory will be used so the Arduino bootloader will be erased. So if you want to switch back to the Arduino IDE and your board should stay detectable by the Arduino IDE, you have to reflash the Arduino Bootloader.     Found this series insightful and helpful. After using debugging features with other microcontroller IDEs it is difficult to step back into the Arduino world without it and was encouraged to a see the Arduino 2.0 IDE added support for hardware debugging. The Arduino documentation in this area is sparse for starting and using. Please continue to develop this series in the practical use direction of hardware debugging pursuing some examples with more detailed connections and debugging techniques.
