To be fair, while she was on top and everywhere I did not follow her music at all. I converted myself afterwards. I don't get along with mainstream actually, I tend to salvage what's worthy way after their time.

Darkchilds' production on this track was way ahead of its time.
The only reason why i could possibly see low record sales and not many plays (9mill for the hottest song on the album for an artist of her size is dirt, nothing) is because she doesn't have producers like Timbaland etc promoting, she has her new label etc and hopefully is just learning. TSI is still so good, its a shame only thing people will listen to is when songs are played on the radio. This could easily be a gigantic hit and isn't. But what's the best about her is when asked about low record sales, she doesn't really care, she had that part in her life already with Billboard top 200 #1's and just wants to explore different sounds and genres. She's the best because every single album, from her first in 2000, till her latest in 2012 , all are completely different from the last. She ALWAYS has a different sound to her and if you don't listen to her much, you'd never even know who was the artist on songs like this. It's pure talent.
I wish people followed Nelly for her work, not for whats played on the radio. How could you ask "really she came out with an album after 2012?" people dont know she had 3 fucking albums after Loose lol. She is much more talented than anyone right now. Now we have katy perry, justin bieber, miley cyrus, 2 chainz and other complete bullshit, i miss people like justin timberlake/Nelly furtado/timbaland etc on the mainstream a little bit, just so i can turn on the radio once in a while. When she drops the US version of her new album Alive, which kinda flopped because it wasn't out in the US, please give it a listen, I'm sure there'll be GOOD music for the sake of our, and vocally she's beast.

I love this song, I don't know why Nelly Furtado has become so underrated. The whole album that contains this song is unique and very experimental, it's actually one of my favorites and I take it over "Loose" (her best selling album to date) any day.
