The fact that this poetry is traditionally used to describe the one you're destined to end up with, makes perfect sense because Kuruk wrote this song for Hei-Ran and Rangi just so happens to be a clone of Hei-Ran.
Or Avatar productions since I think they got during production company, that way un like Nickelodeon they wouldn't have to blur or change the story for the more graphic parts
There are definitely some things that happen in this book that wouldn't fly on Nickelodeon. They couldn't even show planes crashing in LOK without making sure we saw the pilots parachuting out to safety. I'd love to see this made into a PG-13 show, though.
I have no words. This blew me away! Kyoshi's voice- she can really sing! Everyone did so well with this! Also ik the is already known in the fandom about what kyoshi sings- i'll put it lower for people who dont. That its kuruks. He wrote it for hei-ran but she never heard it. I'm pretty sure what made it bubble up in kyoshi though is Rangi- which its literally stated that Hei-Ran and Rangi look so much a like. its just- i love it so much AH!
And i also thought what if rangi heard kyoshi sing this song while she's alone what would be here reactions while she doesn't know that kyoshi know how to sing
Well that's the thing about Avatar they have the theme of spiritualness like past lives can continue on in other forms of relationships for example and with giatsu Roku with him the same way and now rangi with kiyoshi like hei ron and kuruk
I noticed not every piece of dialogue is in the visual novel, but the overall quality of the visual novel was wonderful. I understand that some of the quotes are more 'accessory' rather than relevant to the overall plot. Plus, non-book-canon dialogue is a nice treat! I liked how when Kelsang, Lee, and Kyoshi got background accompaniment with their 'poem' (which is practically a song) and the scenes in which Kelsang and Kyoshi have pseudo-father + daughter moments.
So a little context for the poetry/songs: In the novel, Kelsang started them on a game where they sang about the object of their unrequited affection, and the others would guess who it was they had a crush on based on the lyrics. Kuruk wrote those lines because of his crush of Hei-Ran. Kyoshi plucked them from the latent memories of her previous lives because of her crush on Rangi, who is Hei-Ran's daughter. Also, teh village bullies calling a trained Firebending soldier a 'lackey' to her face. That is the face of true courage. ... Or a total lack of self-preservation instinct.
i wasnt sure if yall were coming back but this was so worth the wait, i still havent read the kyoshi books so u have no idea how excited i am for this series 😩
Respect for the voice actors!! They were SO ON POINT! Each one of them sounds so accurate. Yun, Hei-Ran, Kyoshi, Kelsang, and Jianzhu. And Aunt Mui sounds like an aunt, really. Everything is so impressive!!
This is another well done episode. However, I feel some closed captioning would do good, at least when Yun is doing remote earthbending to create words.
Bro this is SO GOOD!! Kyoshi is my absolute favorite and having a visual is so nice! The VA for Yun fits SO well, that’s exactly how I though Yun would sound like! Great job and keep it up I LOVE THIS!!
Thank you THANK YOU! For this amazing piece of art! I’ve rewatched Avatar: The Last Airbender literally got two months straight. It feel almost the same as when I would get out of school and wait for a new episode of the show to air. Everything is done so well and it really tides us fans over until we get a new update from Avatar Studios or the Netflix adaptation. Either way this is NEEDED in the fandom!
Wow, you all did a great job on this project! Love the cast and their voice acting and how you chose to cut down/add stuff to make it a coherent story. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this, keep up the good work :)
I get Yun making the earth so soft it made it seem like he was waterbending, but how did all these people even come to the conclusion that he was an avatar?
Because he played Pai Sho almost exactly like Kuruk. Also that poem Kyoshi song is exactly the same one that Kuruk wrote for Hei-Ran, and Kelsang is the only one who knows this.
The air nomads and the fire nation have a process to discover the next avatar but for the water tribes and earth kingdom they basically have to guess.😅😂😂
I love the poetry part, they were all having fuuun. Also love how it ended, what a cliffhanger. All I can say is this is another masterpiece. I enjoyed every second of it!
OMG! Thank you SO much for whoever made this. I read both the Kyoshi books, the animation and narrative are so on point, but the singing of that poem by Kyoshi is something else!
Please continue these videos i love it i am waiting for more episodes to come so that i can start these series too 😜 it is hard to wait for next episodes for months 😉 so please try to make these episodes once a week Thanks 👍 love the work
Wow.. wow.. WOW...magnificent work guys. Every detail are so good. What i love the most is the background music. It sure have Avatar series vibes in it. Keep doing the great job, we love u all
Kyoshi would make a great wife and mother. Her kind and bright personality and gentle voice is so calming and refreshing. It’s like having the sun around

Fans “fine I’ll do it myself”

YUN’S VOICE IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU’D EXPECT IT TO BE. PROPS TO THE VA
honestly yea. When I read him my brain decided to give him Haku's voice from Spirited Away, so hearing him be relatively close to that is great.
Thanks so much!
