Cashout is where the game can go either way, they could successfully answer true or false questions in a row and win money or goof up and leave with nothing.
I had a little fun with ripping the audio from this and hearing the song at different rates. I placed it at 120 bpm as a starting reference, then changed it in different rates.. like 140, 150, 98, 100 too. It's awesome music no matter what, I salute the guy who thought this idea up of changing a songs tempo mid game.
+Liam Davis Paul Farrer was the man who came up with the idea for the show, composed the music and conducts it live during the games. And boy, does he deserve all the praise for it. Genius idea, truly marvellous music and it just draws you in so well!
This show is awesome! I'm glad it got renewed for a second series! I really love the music, but especially love Questions 2 and 3 music. I saw the episode with Amanda (couldn't figure out Limerick) and that music was amazing and epic for unravel! You should upload it, it is probably some of the most epic music i've heard for a game show! :)
I really miss this show, hopefully we get a reboot of it in 2021. Also, I'd love to hear the older tracks that I think were used in Question Bed 1 or 2! :)
+Nicholas Garcia Lets be honest, this is without a doubt, one of the best background music theme for a game show anywhere. This literally gets the heart racing as cashout goes on, especially when the heart rate goes out of control
Now that I've listened to all of these (quite a few times, actually), I've noticed that they all have a definite beginning, middle, and end. So, what happens when you have a contestant (likely one with an out of control heart rate) that takes longer to complete a game than you have music prepared for?
Good question! Each piece used in the studio Is very long. Each piece is made of 1000 beats so they will never run out even if the contestant uses 1000 beats in the first round. Which happened a few times I think.
+chrisjoyce87 The contestant's heart rate monitor updates our master tempo as an average every 5 beats. So it tracks their heart beat speed very accurately.
+Paul Farrer just wondering Paul what's the story for season 3 is it happening cause I heard people applied for a third season and then the Facebook page hinted towards it returning and then nothing else...
I love how the intro to Cashout is more dramatic than the other question beds.
It's like the music is saying, "It all comes down to this."
Please upload the rest of the question beds, Paul! They're ALL awesome!
+keshihead07 Done.
Great piece. Paul is really a very talented composer!

Hope this comes back for a 3rd series i got hooked on the last series

That would be the conductor himself
mathewmallon I get that, but i meant the shows creator too.
+Liam Davis Still Paul Farrer...

***** I realised that actually..
I hope Australia's Network Seven picks this show up like they did with The Chase.
And North America. (I'm Canadian, so if the U.S. picks it up I hope they allow us to compete.)
I would LOVE to see a U.S. version of it. Would make for great television.
Meerkatdoken risk can be for this show if people have heart condition or like my dad an irregular heartbeat

0:59 This bit. It’s the cruellest, most beautiful bit. Like you’re caught in a spiral.

I love how the passage that comes in at 1:00 gives a total "you're blowing it!" feel to the piece.
+Loogaroo1 I got more of a "this is it - crunch time!" vibe. I agree with you though!

+Kevin Tablet Thanks Kevin. Really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for my show. Glad you enjoy it. Cheers.
No bother man with you in charge the game shows are going through a golden age... And I'm glad to be a part of it
+Kevin Tablet Absolutely. Probably the best theme of any game show out there right now.
If a American version was made, would you be a part of it?

Paul Farrer
Brilliant. I would never have thought of that!
That is fucking genius just saying
+Paul Farrer What BPM is this specific piece playing at in the video?
120 BPM
awesome music :)
Play this during an online test.
Thanks for the upload , how fast do they change the tempo along with the heart rate ?

+Paul Farrer Thats cool , love lot of your TV themes you have done
Was there different themes on the question bed in series 1?
+chrisjoyce87 Yes I wrote about 4 new beds for series two and made some changes to all the others as well.
Is there anyway you can upload those first beds? Those ones were just as amazing as these ones, I got hooked from the music!
I loved question bed 1 from series 1.
I, too, would love to hear question bed 1 from the first series!
Question Bed 1, 5, 7 and Cashout are the best lets be fair
+Paul Farrer just wondering Paul what's the story for season 3 is it happening cause I heard people applied for a third season and then the Facebook page hinted towards it returning and then nothing else...
Hi Paul, do you own the copyright to this and others? Or is it the TV company?

@@paulfarrer2720 did you create 1000 Heartbeats the format?
