"Reminds me a little bit of the English Houses of Parliament and the Kremlin for some reason - I have no idea why" I think it might be due to their neo-Gothic style (English Houses of Parliament and Hungarian Parliament); there might also be a superficial resemblance to the Kremlin because it has a dome as a prominent structure. When I was a child this was my favorite building, since I'm Hungarian and I have known this building from a very early age. Actually its dome or cupola was influenced by an older building, a church in Vienna (Church Mary the Victorious).
