Hi ladies! My name is Peggy. I just started my business. I have an LLC and my insurance. I have a small inventory. I have not time a paid stage yet. I have googled homes that have been in the market for 30+ days and am thinking of calling these realtors to talk with them about possibly staging these homes. They are lived in at this time so I would be doing a soft stage. I think that’s what it’s called. I live in Moyock NC about 50 mins from the outer banks. Would appreciate your th bought some in going about getting business this way. Thank u. Love your videos !
Hey Peggy! Congratulations on your new journey! This is a smart idea. Look for homes that have been on the market and talk to the realtors. If you offers staged photography as part of your package, the realtors might be more receptive to allowing you to stage. Having the photographer come back out after you have staged is an added expense for them. Let us know how we can help!
Hey Brenna. This is a great question and we get asked it all the time. Because pricing is so subjective and depends on so many variables, it is difficult for us to make a video about it. We do offer one on one mentor ships and we can help you analyze the pricing in your community and determine what a fair rate would be for your projects. But what we charge in this community may be way different than what you can charge in your community. Potentially, you could charge a lot more or a lot less than we do and still remain competitive in your market. Does that make sense?
Good morning I need HELP !!! 🙂 Reviewed your information about contract very helpful. I could use a format . What would be a reasonable pricing for just accessories? Thank you 🙏
Hi Liria! We have a contract already made (by an attorney) that you can purchase and customize with your name and info. Let me know if you are interested! :)
Thank you so much for sharing this information! What would you do in the event that the home owner does not pay the amount due? What happens if they don’t pay for the renewals?
Hi there! We highly recommend collect payment for initial installation prior to installation day. As for renewals, make sure you invoice on time so that if a homeowner does not make a payment, you can take action without losing valuable time. That said, we always recommend trying to work with clients; in these strange times flexibility is key. Would you consider payment plans? Or write an agreement that payment could be made upon the closing of the home sale? Consider how you might be flexible so that everyone wins. Thanks for your questions, so glad you are following us! Best, Jen
Hi ladies! Thank you again for your awesome videos. While most of my questions have been happily answered, I would love to know more detail about how you charge the client. I would assume the client would pay at closing, but would you suggest a % upfront/deposit? Also- if they do pay at closing how do you assure the escrow department knows that money is owed to your company out of the seller net proceeds? Hope these questions make sense. Thank you in advance!! Sarah
Hello again Sarah! :) We do not have our clients pay at closing. Our contract requires payment 7 days prior to initial installation. Then we invoice every 4 weeks for renewal. This has worked out nicely for us! Best, Jen

A break down of what you charge would be amazing! I always struggle to see how stagers go about their charging process.
