Thank you very, very much Liz! 💚
I thought I couldn't play these three bowing patterns,
but thanks to your videos I did it. I am so happy!

Your high bow hold on Scots and Cape Breton playing is interesting. I grew up in the CB tradition so it is intuitive to me.

Liz, video idea, you should do a detailed video on the difference between jigs, reels, hornpipes etc and their Rhythm in tunes. And how they all sound different, Great Video as usual . 👍🏼

Irish, Scottish, bah - we're two sides of the same whisky jar, the culture is distinct, but very much entwined - just don't let the Scots hear you say that, haha. :) That being said, I much prefer the Scot fiddle style, it's nice and steady, less limbs flying everywhere, haha
    Warm regards, from Scotland.

First time I've ever heard of adding "crunchiness" to your bowing, and I love it!
Thanks for this one, it's so cool to see these different bowing techniques, and you are excellent with them!

@@LizFaiellaMusic 😊 really nice lesson and a lovely tune. Do you always play the accented short note with a downbow? The long short phrase would the begin on an upbow.

Why does an Italian steal Irish music? If the Scottish exist, they are Irish.
