Hi!! I loved your video and the decorations you did for the graduation. Beautiful! Also, I’ve had GREAT experiences with Hi-Shine. At first I, too, was confused about it and rubbed them too. BUT actually, you don’t wipe at all. The directions say just spray it and let it sit for about 10-15mins (no wiping) and the white residue will vaporize on its own. I’ve done it so many times, and it looks absolutely incredible after its finished. Be sure to place something under the balloons when you spray though, because it’ll make the floor a little slippery. They do have aerosol sprays as well and many love them too.
I did an experiment with high shine. I had a cluster of balloons sprayed with it and kept them for 8 months... The balloons lasted. The key to using it with setups is to use an ultra mist spray bottle and to use a generous amount. The product will spread on its own over time, give it 30 min or so. Hang in there I think it's worth it! Beautiful setup as always
I've used hi-shine before, the things is you spray it and walk away. No need to rub it all over. It does it on its own as time goes on. Try that and see how you feel then...love this set up! You always do such good work!

For all my fellow balloon stylists. I use Mega Shine on work I'm paid for but the found out about Mcquire Tire Shine and bout for about 9
$9 at the auto store it seems to work just fine but I haven't tried for outside yet. But guess what, now I've found out about Armour All for just $5 at the Dollar Tree.. can't wait to try it for styles I do for my church which are mostly donated work. Hope this helps. TFS

Well I only have a few more years and then he’s off to college. So I know I better enjoy his help while it lasts. ☺️
We use Hi Shine and its a WHOLE job in itself! My husband is the Hi Shine expert! He uses a mister bottle and then wipes the individual balloons with a cloth towel to polish evenly! We include an application price with any outdoor balloon displays and indoor displays that will be up for 2 days or longer!

Aww im sorry that your balloon shine experience was not great. But mega shine is a great brand. You don't need to rub it in either.
I really enjoy watching you. Im new to having a channel and you inspire me so much. Especially setting up events inspirations in your home to attract the clients you desire. I always saw that as a waste of money, time and resources but because of you my calendar will be ready to do just that once a week starting next month ❤❤
First off... everything looked great! As always! I overall like hi shine the advice ppl give is to put it in a mist bottle. That way it covers more balloons at one time. You can spray, walk away and when u come back you will see it kind of does the work on its own. I never had to wipe it in to each balloon but I have had to wipe it in a balloon or 2 if I have sprayed too much. But I am still playing with different shines as well.

Hey, I absolutely love Hi-Shine, the trick is not to spray too close to the balloons to prevent it getting wet and having to wipe the balloons xx. I hope it works for you

I just loved your setup.
I use Mega Shine. It's an aerosol can. It smells really good, but can be overwhelming if sprayed indoors. Have the windows open for a few minutes if possible.

When I use Hi-Shine I spend a lot of time polishing the balloons with it. I feel like of your balloons are indoor they will turn out nice and shiny and they last a long time. I'm still experimenting with it for outdoor use so I will let you know.
I use hi-shine all the time. You don’t need to rub it in. Just spray a good amount of hi-shine on the balloons and let it dry for about 5min. Then check for missed spots and spray more. But you have to be very careful when used indoor because it can make wood/tile floor slippery.
I know what you mean about the hi shine!! You do have to rub it in. I got some balloon shine which I like better, and you only have to spray it on, but it does make the floors slippery. So you definitely will have to put something down before you spray. As you were putting the balloons together, they already look shiny to me!😂

I use hi-shine got all outdoor events. Bought a gallon last year and im Still using it. Fine mist bottle is key! Try it again once you have that bottle

I feel like when you are doing an outdoor install, you just need to educate the client that the balloons are going to oxidize. A lot of people like the look of matte balloons, especially if it is for an adult party, or a more sophisticated event. Sometimes the matte look works in your favor. But also, I think you can get a great look by only using high shine on chrome balloons. It helps them to stand out, and saves A TON(!!!) of time.

Beautiful job as always!! 👏🏾👏🏾 I actually love using Hi-Shine, here's a tip you have to spray enough to cover the surface of the balloons but not excessively to make the Hi-Shine drip, AND there's no need to rub it in because it will naturally spread on the balloons.

I use High-Shine all the time, but NEVER outside (especially in high heat-80 degrees and up with direct sunlight) Learnt my lesson!
1. If the display will be out for 6+ hours, don't use high shine. It will make them expand and they will start to pop. If less than 6hrs. you can use it-but under-inflate balloons-severe under-inflating!
2. If you use it indoors, get a light mister spray-you wouldn't have to wipe balloons. It dries fast too.
So much to learn about Hi-Shine!

Well done Loniel. Beautiful work as always. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 And yes, hi-shine is the bane of my existence🙄 It helps, keeps your balloons shining but it is such a pain & soo slippery. If you don't rub it in, it looks like milk dripping from the balloons. I actually slipped & fell on the carpet during my son's graduation party, cos hi-shine droplets got on it. I almost slipped this past weekend again, lol, even though I used the lid of my tub to try to catch the droplets. I was trying to finish my stash but my next go to is megashine, or something with a good, wide, spray nozzle.

Beautiful work! I really enjoy your set ups. I love high shine there is a bit of a learning curve with it, you should transfer the hi shine to a misting spray bottle, after installs spray it and let it sit it will spread on it's own, no need to wipe the balloons

Your work is always amazing!! Beautiful work!! For me still in this learning mode I have seen where several balloon Artist have taken the Hi-Shine balloon spray and transfer it into a mist spray bottle of course lay something down on the floor because to me I have tried 3x different kinds and they all mist the floor just so there's no accidents and that kinda works for me. I do like Hi-Shine verse "Balloon Glow the green drip and smell not my favorite lol, but everyone is different. Do what works best for you! Yes, it has to be sprayed some time before the event for if to devolve away, so there is no need to hand wipe. Hope it helps. My next balloon spray to try is in the pink can ? You did amazing! All of the coordination of the entire party was exquisite and very detailed. I just bought Hi-Shine for the first time so when you said that you would've had to put it on each balloon....**faints** Say it isn't so? Lol. I guess I'll see when it gets here.
Looks amazing!!! but I use high shine and it says on the back not to rub it in just spray and leave it you will see the results after an hour or so.

Hi! I've only used Megashine and it's so easy to use and spray! The only thing it just leaves the oily residue on the balloons so I always let the client know incase they end up touching the balloons.
What a beautiful display. I know that creators have used hairspray, yup in place of high shine. I don't have the experience myself or know what exact brand can be used bt it drys quickly so I believe that's why it can be used and it is of a fine mist.

Don't use hi shine. Use mega shine or balloon glow. It's in an aerosol can. Sprays really easy just make sure you have ventilation. Mega shine smells good but can be overwhelming indoors

Hello, love your work. I definitely don’t use high shine. Use mega shine or I’ve even started using tire shine works great just a great as mega shine and it’s $9-$10 a can…mega shine is $30 a can… hope this helps

How much did you charge for all of this? I use mega shine, like others said to be careful as it can make floor slippery. I had bad experience with shining balloon too. With heat and under direct sun shine sprays make balloons pop. So use when balloons will be in shade only

You don’t have to rub in the Hi-Shine just spray it in the balloons and it will set.. No need to rub it in.

There is another balloon shine that works better than hishine - it is called mega shine!!! Not sure how to take a pic of the van so you can see it😂

Perfect! with the mega shine - when spraying it makes the floor very slippery. I would suggest to put a large blanket down prior to spraying or spray the garland outside prior to install.
You won’t have to worry if on carpet.
I used high shine but my balloons always streak and they look dull and spotty. And I even rubbed it in. If anyone has any tricks please let me n is. Thank you.

I use HiShine when it’s super hot! I only add to the balloons that are showing, and yes you have to wipe the balloons down 🫤
