I have always played D&D in person and now that I will start streaming campaigns, Quest Portal has made it very easy in creating a campaign that is stream-friendly. Everything was very easy to figure out and easy to use! I have been enjoying creating the campaign on QP. I tried other VTTs but gave up in frustration. 😂 Kudos to the QP team!
More than coming up with character concepts, what I’d find especially useful is to be able to describe a character and get a modifiable character sheet with skills and stats that make sense for the person I’ve described. Or even just “give me a mob henchman” for when the players start interacting with an NPC I hadn’t expected to be important. Does QP do that?
We just launched our character sheet templates feature. We want to hook that up to the AI features as well so you can indeed ask for a NPC or character that fits a template and it will fill it out. Still a few weeks out though :)
Hi! No we developed our own solution to have more flexibility in building in TTRPG specific things to our notes tools. But Notion is often an inspiration for how we solve things.
@@questportal Thanks so much for the information, I'm a current notion user so moving to this seems like it would be great! I'll be following for when 5e options become available!
Is the assistant tailored specificly for Fantasy, or can it do other genres? Im going to be starting up a Starfinder 2e game for the playtest coming out and have been toying with the idea of using an AI to help me, but most of the AI i have seen have been specific to a fantasy setting, not SciFi
@@bojangles9115 you can set the game system you are playing in the campaign settings. This will flavor the assistant to the system in genre. If we have any sources in the library tied to that system it will try and use those to answer questions. If you feel it's still giving a bit too much fantasy in its answer then adding Sci-fi in the prompt might help.

I've just found your app. Is this app based on the Notion platform? It looks very similar.
