1.200Hp Man Racing Truck SHOW from FIA Championship - Ryan Smith MAX ATTACK at Goodwood FOS 2019!

- This is the spectacular 1200 Hp Man Racing Truck driven by British champion Ryan Smith during the last Goodwood Festival of Speed. The vehicle takes part in the British Truck Championship and the FIA European Truck Championship and develops an incredible 5.500NM of torque! This thanks to a 13.000cc engine, equipped with a single turbo that allows an acceleration from 30 to 160km/h in just 6 seconds. Other impressive specs are the weight of about 5.500kg and the consumption of biodiesel, 100 litres per 100km! The maximum speed is electronically limited to 160 Km/h.

Questo è lo spettacolare Man Truck da corsa pilotato dal campione britannico Ryan Smith durante l'ultima edizione del Goodwood Festival of Speed. Il veicolo prende parte al British Truck Championship ed al Fia European Truck Championship e sviluppa l'incredibile potenza di 1.200cv e ben 5.500NM di coppia! Questo grazie ad un motore di 13.000cc, dotato di singolo turbo che permette un'accelerazione da 30 a 160km/h in soli 6 seconds. Altri dati impressionanti sono il peso di circa 5.500kg ed il consumo di biodiesel, 100 litri per 100km! La velicità massima è autolimitata elettronicamente a 160 Km/h.

I camion attuali hanno potenze tali (ed anche impianti frenanti e sistemi di sicurezza) che potrebbero tranquillamente permettergli di tenere velocità maggiori.

I think it's limited by the electronics that operate on the engine.

It's limited by the regulations for safety reasons. Probably via electronics acting on fuel injection when you reach the set limit.
@@pharaongaming8617 These trucks are full of electronic control units; I think the speed is limited by one of these, a bit like what happens on powerful cars.
@@Babishabascule it said that it was self limited (which means it didn't need anything to limit itself and it was limited by drag or gearing so I asked which was the cause but he said electronically
