Definitely the best business class service I've seen on a U.S. domestic flight, but that sock and the crumbs... YIKES!! (I'm sure someone at JetBlue watches these UA-cam flight reports, and will doubtlessly do a course correction when he sees this.)
I doubt it. This is nothing unusual ( expect maybe the sock) on domestic flights. It's the nature of quick turn times on the aircraft to meet schedules. I've seen the same thing on UA/AA/ DL.
I bet JetBlue will definitely address whoever is doing the cabin cleaning at LAX regarding this. Which is a good thing, especially if it brings a change from that happening again. One of my first jobs was cleaning airplane interiors. It's not an easy job, especially when trying to do a quick turn. I'm sure they are short staffed as well. I definitely would have gotten that sock removed. 🤮
The new JetBlue Mint Suites are amazing. The $199 up charge for the Mint Studio is worth it if you want more storage space, and a wider bed. The buddy seat folds into part of the bed when you recline into sleep mode. I was actually able to roll around in the seat when I was sleeping! It’s definitely the best seat to fly in for when traveling across the country. Way better than (Delta One 😬)
You're right about Jet Blue becoming the number one airline. To find similar, you would need to be in Delta One travelling international. Hopefully, Jet Blue will drag the other airlines behind them to all improve. American Airlines anyone?
I feel like you were almost TOO kind with the crumbs and sock, although with how awesome the rest looked it's definitely a "simple" fix in the grand scheme to just raise cleaning standards, as long as actually do address it that is.

@@sanspotter Unfortunately it's nothing uncommon on domestic flights. Even before Covid, I learned to bring disinfectant wipes to wipe down the seats. It's just part of my travel kit. And i'm not a germaphobe but planes can be nasty.

Thanks so much! Yes, not only are the seats (and service amazing), I really hope it’s lighting a fire under the butts of the other US airlines to do something similar. Mint is the best - hands down.
Definitely agree with you on the meal. Very good. I flew this service last week. But i was not really a fan of the seat. As you point out very narrow and after a while i started to feel very closed in, in not a good way. I would have preferred in the design of the seat they used some of that overly large table space to increase the width of the seat. First world problems I understand, but it could use some tweaking, especially as they start going transatlantic. And agreed on the inward facing design. That's why I skipped Virgin Atlantic in their older configuration
Seat width is one area where the old JetBlue mint seat (the single seat suite) was far superior. Oh, and the fact that it faced forward instead of inward was a plus as well. 😅

Watch a collision impact test of those angled seats. Your head and neck get whipped around significantly. You arms and legs flail. IF you ever get a high speed overrun into an engineered material arresting area at the end of a runway you are going to hurt something fierce sitting in one of those angled seats. A 4 point harness isn't going to stop the head movement, but it would limit some of the undesirable body movements in an unexpected severe deceleration. Hi Scott. Wow ! What a meal ! But I agree with you, that's pretty gross finding dirty socks at your seat, let alone the seat not being cleaned properly. Glad it was a comfy seat though !
@@sanspotter I think it depends on the seat model but mostly this type of seat actually needs less space than forward faced seats and airlines can put more of them into a cabin without having big loss of legroom for passengers.
@@tymgames8307 More sardines in the can. Wonderful, for the airlines. Mint class? Wonderful for the passengers. Socks? Could go both ways, depending who they belong to.

They look so incredible, I'm really excited to try them on a London route soon when I get flying again! Of course it was another phenomenal video also.
Omg the sock!! And crumbs!! Ick 🥴 I wonder how they would have handled that if you would have said something right then to a flight attendant? But everything else looked amazing! I normally fly southwest so this is fancy!!! Lol one thing I am curious about, which I’m sure I can google , is how much the baggage cost. Is there a carry on fee, etc.
They have never been a Southwest style product even in economy. They don't really really compete much with Southwest. They have always offered IFE, more legroom options, assigned seating, BOB etc. It was their differciator when they started back in 1999/2000.
It took me a while to not think of them as just another low cost carrier as well, but once they introduced their Mint product (in 2014 I believe?), that all changed.
Definitely not a southwest type product, any airline that gives me more leg room, no matter what seat I get. Is priceless, especially for a taller person such as myself
Did I miss the description of what the meals actually were? This seems is to becoming a common thread of recent reviews I’ve seen in other channels as well and it’s not good
What's the point of offering a premium product if you can't get into a lounge? US airlines are still ridiculously over-priced for what you get compared to the ME3 and most other airlines' premium products. But, hey if they're willing to put up with it...! My mantra is "There's no prestige in paying too much." Read "being ripped off".
Normally I’d agree but the seat and service in JetBlue Mint is so good! If they ever come up with a lounge solution, it’s game over for the other airlines.

To you, what is the best first or business and which airline? Concerning the current situations now???… I have been looking into but having some troubles
Seats look incredibly comfortable, not gonna deny that but, i hate that isle facing seats... i mean what's the point having a window seat if i'd turn my back to the windows, i don't have a neck of an owl..
That was the biggest drawback. It wasn’t too bad though, since it wasn’t like everyone was facing each other. Still, there was only so much they could do with a narrow cabin.
I had free upgrade on AA courtesy of AAdvantage membership, right into a dirty seat with sticky armrest from spilled cola incompletely cleaned and a nonworking power plug! Def wish i was back in the economy .....lol....
That sucks! I probably would have scrubbed that armrest down with about 10 of those antibacterial wipe thingies to see if that made it any better before retreating back to economy. 😄
@@sanspotter didn't have any wipe with me. suppose i couldn've asked for them. also, that wouldnt solved the power plug issue. good thing the flight was only 1 hr.
Do you know outward facing seats takes you further from the windows? Do you know how much trash is left by the previous passengers and the clean-up is contracted to vendors? You should fly on ArabiA to experience disgust
I love jetblue, but for $2500.00 roundtrip, they have stiff competition across the pond. KLM was a dream on the dream liner biz class for the same cost.
I had no idea it was that expensive! However, based on my experience, this new Mint product is just as good (if not better) than what most other airlines are offering.
@@sanspotter dirty socks and crumbs aside...jetblue might be good against domestic business clas but not against KLM, Airfrance, Lufthansa and Emmirates which includes limosine services, to and from airport and hotel. Plus better seat layout and food and european service.
Need to put a time code on when you ACTUALLY enter the aircraft, which is 4:39 seconds. I clicked to see the seats... but others might want to hear you story... just saying.
The fact that it was multiple shades of neon is what messed me up the most. I mean, think about the kind of people who might wear a sock like that. 🤔💭😄😄 Glad you enjoyed the video!
They definitely downgraded with the amenity kits they hand out. It used to be packed with more things, including earplugs and a sleeping mask, and this mint flavored face mister which was my favorite thing to use to wake myself up right before we landed. The kit itself used to be a really nice reusable pouch with a zipper. Now it's basically a brown paper bag with a string tie. And they downgraded on the meals, too. There used to be an option for dessert, but now everyone gets the same choice, no options. But they definitely have a nicer blanket and pillow set this time around!
@@MAYBEE90 Actually that's not entirely true. For lunch/dinner menu....Mint Customers have 5 Options and they're allowed to choose 3. Along with the dessert. It's similar with breakfast. I agree with you. I'm also not a fan of the inward faced seats. But unfortunately a lot of airlines are going to make their business class like this
That stinks! I wonder why, considering that they wouldn’t lose any room by facing the seats inwards instead. 🤷🏼♂️
Mint is first class I thought and tbh I kinda wanna go on a mint flight
Do you get to keep the headphones?
Don’t fly them very often but each time I have they’ve been ridiculously late.
Noise canceling headphones! Yesssss! Fries in a GOLD bowl!?!! I’m giving up American Airlines.
Now let’s talk about that sock situation 😦😲😱🤪😝🤮
Nice video! Thanks! ☺️🙏🏽
Maybe you should use the Jeb Score (tm) when rating these services?
I wonder how much I would have to pay in licensing fees? 🤔😄
They look so incredible, I'm really excited to try them on a London route soon when I get flying again! Of course it was another phenomenal video also.
Thanks! You’re going to like it for sure - and it’ll be hard for any other airline to match.
The seat cleanliness is unacceptable. You need to send this video to JetBlue.
Very impressive! I always thought of JetBlue as a SouthWest sort of product. I will have to explore them further.
This seems is to becoming a common thread of recent reviews I’ve seen in other channels as well and it’s not good
We’re you filming your phone with your phone? Lol 😂 great review tho!
never flew jetblue, looks nice!
I wish Jetblue flew to Japan.. Is Delta or Americans worth flying to Japan?
been waiting for this
Me too! This was easily my most highly anticipated flight this year.
Great video bro ! 🤘😎🤘
Thanks man! Glad you liked it! 😎👍🏻
The “THEY THICC” comment has me on the floor 🤣🤣🤣
Do you not have to go through security to get between TBIT and T5?
Nope - there’s a walkway that bypasses security.
@@sanspotter :( Last time I was there I wanted to head to TBIT but an airport employee told me I would have to go back through security to do so. Oh well, now I know for next time.
The NEO is awesome. It's so quiet
To you, what is the best first or business and which airline? Concerning the current situations now???… I have been looking into but having some troubles
What flights offer mint plus+
JetBlue needs to open up a restaurant!
when Cathay and AA do that kind of business seating angle many years ago... it was bad... they have to get rid of it quick... seems JetBlue missed the memo lol
Nah, compere rig now, JetBlue is the best
I must try this. I have been a JetBlue fan to the point that they were the only airline I would fly.
It’s an incredible experience! Hopefully you’ll get to try it soon. 👍🏻
Cabin crew would have had to remove that sock before takeoff.
Is it possible to walk to Tom Bradley from all the other terminals airside?
It is possible from terminals 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4. Not 1-3.
@@vicg5323 💯
KLM a better choice. Always reliable service and friendly flight attendants. I have found JetBlue to be inconsistent.
Yayyy after 2 weeks you are back 😍
Love the videos !!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@sanspotter 😁😄
Need to put a time code on when you ACTUALLY enter the aircraft, which is 4:39 seconds. I clicked to see the seats... but others might want to hear you story... just saying.
"They Thiccc" Subscribed. lolll
Great video! What's the food? Looked like there were 2 entrees???
Thanks Eddy! I chose the lasagna and the grilled chicken (strange combo, I know 😅), along with the salad. Everything was prepared to perfection!
Great video!! How does anyone miss a sock when cleaning?? Lol. I hope that sock didn’t give you nightmares!! 🤣😝
The fact that it was multiple shades of neon is what messed me up the most. I mean, think about the kind of people who might wear a sock like that. 🤔💭😄😄 Glad you enjoyed the video!
"environmentally friendly" is code for "cheaper"
Shut eye flights are the only flights with a fixed menu.
Snooze kits with eye mask as well as ear buds are also available. They're not located in the wellness kit like before.
@@wadew4091 I recently flew to St. Martin from JFK with JetBlue. There are 5 meal options, which you can choose 3. But there was no option for dessert. When I used to fly JetBlue when Mint first came out, we would get an option of ice cream, fruits, or some kind of cake slice, and you could choose one. This time around, the only option was ice cream. Not that I’m complaining! They did a great job with having some of the best airplane meals I’ve ever had.
I didn’t get a snooze kit. Did you have to ask for that separately? It used to just be in the wellness kit.
@@MAYBEE90I'm a crew member😀
Oops the sock 😮
One of these days I going to have to give it a try.
I recommend trying as soon as possible! Jetblue has really set the bar for what premium transcon services should be.
