Ingredients:
Spaghetti sauce:
2 tbs EVOO
1/3 cup chopped onion
4 cloves fresh garlic
15oz tomato sauce
1lb 12oz can peeled
tomatoes
14.5oz Hunt's Fire Roasted
3 tbs tomato paste
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp garlic powder
2-3 tsp kosher salt
few fresh basil leaves
1 tbs sugar
*taste and adjust to your liking
Meatballs:
1.5 lbs ground beef (remove 1/3 of this, season, cook and add to sauce)
1 lb ground Italian sausage (remove 1/3 of this, season, cook and add to sauce)
1/3 cup bread crumbs
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
2 tbs water
1/2 tsp black pepper
3-4 oz parmesan cheese
16oz spaghetti noodles (cooked al dente')
Battered fried chicken:
7 whole wings split
1 tbs seasoning salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
3/4 cup self-rising flour
3/4 cup cool water (may need less)
oil for frying

Yesss! I keep a container of that seasoning blend at all times in my cabinet. And the chicken cooked this way was so good.
I’m blown away!!!! I always watch but never comment! You only eating spaghetti twice a year as a kid blows my mind. I could never. I get upset when we go too long between spaghetti dinners. I LOVE SPAGHETTI! And just about any kind homemade, cafeteria frozen…. I just love it.
I remember making some spaghetti for a coworker and he immediately told me, "There's no way your spaghetti sauce is from a jar!" Of course not. I love my homemade sauce as well.
And I also use self-rising flour bcuz I bake cookies and I learned a long time ago that it has baking soda and powder in it so I no longer have to buy those ingredients. 😊

I find that honey dissolves better and faster than sugar. Another trick I like to use sometimes is to use unsweetened applesauce since it's less overwhelming but gets the job done.
Miriam I like to say I love the way that your hair look so beautiful that style for a while your meal look fantastic put the onions the tomato paste in the onions and the stewed tomatoes and all that beautiful seasoning it was hard to keep up with you. I couldn't go out because we were having a ice and snow storm here in STL and going to the store wasn't an option. I ended up making chili mac with Ziti and elbow pasta lol. I enjoyed your recipe!! Lol at your talk about your excitement for spaghetti as a child. Girl we had spaghetti every Friday when daddy fried the different types of fish. Yes in the midwest we eat fish and spaghetti.
