- i was expecting more channels than this. (should've gotten the cable instead.)
the output for some reason was a bit weird as the splitter i use doesn't output to the tv but to the recorder i'm using. not to mention this recording didn't record the audio as i used VLC rather than the usual recorder as i wanted to have the audio heard.
Hi! Did you use a capture card to get this working? I have one and a HDMI splitter but haven't had any luck.
Yes, I used a Capture Card with this. I think it's a random Chinese "Video Capture with Loop" I found on eBay which has an output to act as a passthrough to the TV. It didn't output anything onto the TV but it did go through to my PC.
I haven't tested my capture card with that Virgin Streaming Box recently though.
@@TelevisionRecordings Thank you for the reply! I hope Virgin Stream is much better for you now, I switched from Sky Glass because Virgin have aced in getting every channel on this thing now!
@@TVmusicUK I didn't know Virgin added Box Plus Channels now! I haven't subscribed to them yet but I'll see if I can still record from the Virgin Box.
@@TelevisionRecordings Not for long sadly, they're all closing 30th June, but we have NOW Music here on Stream now too and they're launching a new channel in July, might be worth looking out for!
