While Ravi Shastri will be remembered for those two test series wins in Australia, under him we also botched up the 2019 ODI World Cup because he was not decisive as to who the number 4 batsman would be. Under him, India also choked in the India England test series and the Test Series vs South Africa in 2018. So it was a mixed bag with Ravi Shastri.
He tried his level best to put Ashwin out , unfortunately ashwin kept performing again and again ... He must have involved in the decision of making ms bat at 6 and inclusion of 3 D player , as player please watch the highlights of 1992 wc he would have literally played test
Isnt the head coaches job to plan for the upcoming games, what is the general bowling strategy, plan for each opposition player as a batsman and also as a bowler. Set the responsibility for each player of your own team
better than Dravid for sure. Stupid guy didn't read the pitch in WC final even though playing in Indian surface . Also even though the fast bowlers were exceptional he chose to get spin friendly pitch. That says all about his coaching IQ . give a rest
