Here's what I do with our air fryer oven - For those 1st chicken breasts and the paste (1st & 3rd recipe)...Put them in a zipper bag and pour the paste / seasonings in the bag. Massage them until they are completely covered. Then air fry. To really lighten the calories, put all the dry seasonings into a shaker jar, spray the breasts with olive oil, shake the seasoning over the breasts like a rub on both sides, then spray with olive oil again. I'm a South Texas girl raised on Mexican food. For your fajitas, might I suggest Bolner's Fiesta Chicken Fajita Seasoning (you can order online). They are made in San Antonio, TX and are the BEST seasoning for all things Mexican food. Traditionally, 'fajita' means a thin strip cut of meat, vs. a cooking style. So fajitas are actually made by grilling entire whole pieces of meat and then sliced thin after they are fully cooked. That prevents them from drying out in the air fryer. If you want to pre-cut, be sure to spray them well with olive oil prior to cooking. Also, for great tortillas, wrap them in foil and put them in the oven on Toast for 4 minutes. They have enough moisture in them to seam by themselves. For all air fryer oven cooking, I line the bottom tray with a cheap foil. Works great for easy clean up!
9:23 I'm a cold food girl in summer, salads mostly, pasta and veggie salads. Even fruit salads. All so refreshing. I tried a very tasty salad from our lical Culver's, it's a chicken salad with droed cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles and either pecans or walnuts with raspberry viniagrette on a bed of greens, grape tomatoes. Delicious!
@Feedingthebyrds It's my favorite salad from Culver's. I've made it at home too when I can find candied walnuts/pecans (can't always here). I also use strawberries in place of cranberries. That's yummy too.
When are you going to write a book with your recipes? I get great ideas from watching you. One of the morning shows needs to have you on as a guest to cook as well so everyone can see how well you cook an how you teach us an how sweet you are.
Oooh would definitely throw some sliced onion in with those fajita chicken and peppers 😋 I’m an onion girl lol! Thanks for the ideas! I know you can do a ton with the air fryer, we’ve tried so much! I didn’t even think of a quick fajita recipe
They all looked great going to try.also it's corn starch I think you add to breading for crunch.just started using my air fryer mostly potatoes and veggies, ready to graduate to meat it saves so much time and not so hot it's been miserable here in south Carolina, past several nights it's rained really hard.thanks again and I love the bible verse at the end always my favorite ❤
I have a "super" air fryer. It's 2 levels, double doors. You can put casserole dishes in. We use it daily all year long for most baking/toasting. Only use the big oven for big batch cooking.
HI! Just have to say I love the way & your menus!! So much more healthy than so many others!! LOVE LOVE my air fryer!! I honestly can't eat alot of onion, or spices because as WE age (LOLOL) our tummy tends to age too & can't do the young reckless eating any more!! But I try to use what I can to spice things up!! Being Mexican I may I just say....That beautiful TORTILLA WARMER you have is not a fajita warmer!! Sorry... & tell your sweet husband it is Jalapeno, like Halapeno!! J in Spanish is H!! doesn't matter, whats more important are all your easy delicious means...Thanks, God bless be well..STAY COOL...I'm in Texas, near Gulf Coast, actually NASA Clear Lake area...none the less...It is HOT, been praying for rain...💃(and really thank you for the beautiful reminders in Scripture) (DITTO: cookbook!!
I'd love to be able to say its too hot to use my oven. We reached a high this year of 24C (75F) but as my house doesn't get the sun, even that didn't heat it up. I use my airfryer, slow cooker, pressure cooker etc year round. I only have a small convection/microwave grill. Those chicken dishes look amazing. I've already tried the panko one but the other 3 are definitely going on menu in the future. Thank you for sharing xx
We use instant pot at least twice a week. My son loves taco pasta and it is very quick and convenient when making chicken broth, soups, pasta with meatballs. We cook Tuscan chicken in IP, beans, and Asian meals. We definitely love it 🤩😊
Suck yummy sounding and looking recipes! I use my airfryer a whole lot, all year long. I recently made fajitas and we really enjoyed them. I marinate in a lower sodium taco seasoning, from Aldi, along with olive oil and lime juice. 😋❤️
I've been using my airfryer more. In fact I use it so much that I'm considering getting a larger one. I also use my instant pot and crock pot at least once a week.
We need a Feeding the Byrds cookbook. I seriously get the best recipes from you, Jessica O'Donohue, Mandy, and others.
Maybe one day!! It's a dream
Amber you are the only one that uses veggies in most of your cooking. And not too much cream cheese either
Me too!! I follow all of them wonderful ladies too ❤
Love using the airfryer!! More airfryer recipes please!!!😊
More to come!

I'm not Amber but we absolutely love our toaster oven/ air fryer. We use it at least once a day.

Good night Amber and thank you for sharing your yummy meals I'm new to a air fryer I just got one yesterday
Hope you enjoy!! I am actually surprised by how much we use ours.
Hope you save your jars. I love those little jars. Started dehydrating my own herbs. And those jars are so easy to stoer
Great tip!

Oh he definitely knows it's pronounced with an "h". He does it just to be silly!!
So glad you are enjoying these recipes!
I have an air fryer oven too, it's fantastic!
It really is!

Only 75??? Wow!
I never used my Instapot and it is 4 years old.
I have used my air fryer twice.
I like skillet, pot, toaster oven!!!!
I don't really use the instant pot either, just for egg bites. But we use the air fryer a good bit!

Yes!! It's so versatile!
With parsley - you can wash it, dry it, chop and keep it in the freezer in a container. Always fresh parsley on hand and no waste.
Great tip!
Hey hey ❤❤
HEY!!
I've been using my airfryer more. In fact I use it so much that I'm considering getting a larger one. I also use my instant pot and crock pot at least once a week.
I am so glad I got the bigger option!
Do you have a smashed potato recipe?
Yep! In this video ua-cam.com/video/AkV6zmmZr4E/v-deo.html
❤
We have been over 110 for 21 days in Phoenix.
YIKES!
You need to warm the tortillas/fajitas then place in the tortilla holder.
I did! I forgot to mention that!
I don't have an airfryer. If i use the oven, would I use the same temperature?
I would, yes! It will probably just take a little longer.
Do you think you can use sour cream instead of yogurt?
Absolutely!
oops airfry!!👩🍳
Sadly I’ve only used my air fryer once for fries, just to see how the food was different.
My husband cooks but doesn’t like new things. Meats are often dry.
Try a few of these and see if he likes them!
Ty using apple sauce instead of egg a tiny bit of tartness
Oh good tip!
Looks great, but your cutting of chicken and vegetables on the same board makes me wince.
Wait, why?
@@jennifermccall1287 cross contamination. You should have a separate cutting board just for raw meat.
@@amandamur1 but she cut the veggies first and then she cooked it all…. And I bet she is going to wash her cutting board.
@@jennifermccall1287 all true, but it is better to have a separate board. It is just a safer practice.
We regularly sanitize our boards and put them in the dishwasher. Love how easy these are to do that with!
I really dont alter my way of cooking. Our A/C is great and its cheaper to run it than it is the heater.
That's great!
110+ humidity ALL summer long this year here in Georgia
WOW!!
