I believe he is a psychopath but Daniel Sharman is a great actor. I'm glad he joined Fear the Walking Dead.
Sammy Higgs Nah, not a psychopath, that's something else, but he's definitely mentally unstable and has some sort of disorder. A psychopath doesn't feel anything and only cares about himself. Dandy from AHS: Freak Show is a great example of one.
@@ALINA-is7so he may not be a psychopath ( i don't think he is ), but he could still have antisocial personality disorder. if anything, he's a sociopath. but, i don't think he's either; i think he's just stunted in the whole emotion department because of his childhood. he says that nick showed him what it was like to be afraid, he says he felt fear ( which he didn't think was possible ). so, he is capable of feeling. we see him get worried and angry, we see him laugh. so, i definitely agree he's not a psychopath, haha.
He's such a complex character, and Daniel is doing a great job playing him.

Troy was really badass. So badass that he endured all kinds of injuries, lost people and was killed so coldly, in the series finale...
That reminded me of Shane in part: stabbed in the stomach, bled to death at the hands of Madison (killed by a main character, as Shane also did). And this time Troy doesn't link at the beginning of his series like Shane, but he links at the end of his series, in a cold and stupid way

Thank you so much for making a video about Troy. He is a really interesting character. I understand not everybody likes him but to learn more about him with each episode is a pure pleasure for me.

Troy is a really great character with much potential (knocking on wood that he won't die). He's much more interesting than his brother which is why I'd rather see him with Alicia. They'd make a great couple as both feel neglected and are misunderstood by their families but in different ways.
Also I love his relationship with Madison. It's heartbreaking and equally heartwarming to watch him gaining trust in her. Although she says it's "just an act" I feel like she'll start to actually care about him as well because of his resemblance with Nick (both of them being mentally unstable). Her mother instinct will kick in.
ALINA I agree with you! If they can't save the ranch and leave or if Jake and or Jeremiah die, Troy is left more of an outcast. And I feel Madison would want him to join the group even though Nick and Alicia might not want that.
It seems that you aren't a fan of psychological analyzing. Sure, he technically is what you call him, but there are underlying reasons for that. Hence why the character is interesting; digging under the layers of a person to find out the reasons of how they are is what is interesting. And as far as Madison being a nut job, that feeling is semi mutual, however, isn't there a saying that "crazy gets crazy"?
Ex Lover People like Dahmer and Bundy are psychpaths, it's been shown that brains of psychopaths may be structually different, so it is apparently possible to be born a psychopath. Wouldn't you want to find out why? Attractive, not in my opinion. Depends on what you like in a partner. Whether or not you think a person is attactive depends on what you want in a partner. But if they're good looking, that only adds onto the charm that they use to manipulate others with. And childhood is an important time of brain devlopment and understanding of the world and of people. If you're childhood was abusive, or the child was neglected than of course that will have dire effects on a person down the road. And I personally don't agree with people who think serial killers were misunderstood. They aren't. The wiring in the brain is different and it resulted in them finding delight in killing others. I don't think anyone should idolize people who commit those kinds of acts. And in regards to the actor, I think he is doing a good job of portraying some with psychopathic/sociopayhic traits. I've seen him in other shows and movies and the characters are all different and dynamic, which is more than I can say for some actors who constantly play the same type of character.
I'm not saying the actor is bad only the character, because it's very bland and generic. So many shows have pulled the same type, the cute young guy with a sad childhood or past that's now a cold killer, the showrunners and audience only giving him a break because he's cute. I've only seen daniel play in this and teen wolf (He also plays an unrealistic character that's supposed to be a socially awkward gamer) so i don't know how great he is as an actor and i'm not judging that. But his character is not interesting at all imo, he appears more selfish and greedy than deep or misunderstood anyway. And if psychos are born there's no point in trying to find out how they're wired before birth to be psychos , it's not like it can be prevented in anyway, that's only giving them the attention they usually crave. Maybe you don't idolize him but many people DO idolize both mentally disturbed killer characters and men in real life, both are disturbing and rub me the wrong way
Ex Lover I'm going to go out on a limb and compare Troy to Daryl. Both grew up with neglected and abused. And they both turned out differently. Mind you though Daryl has been around people who bring out the good in him, Troy's impulsive and agressive nature was only enabled by his father.

When I first saw him I'm like OK yeah mummy issues get rid of him then I'm like he can have good character development, which he was.

I just finished season 3 (I know I'm late) but he was my favorite character and seeing him die the way he did was just annoying. It just felt so wasted and I already don't like Madison but her killing Troy made me officially hate her

Of course, you may say that the "the bad boy with a sad childhood" scenario is everywhere but it's also very common in real life. Before you judge someone, you should first ask yourself who would you be in such world? At least he's doing what he thinks is best for his people. Give him a break.

Troy is a complicated character. He's a horrible person in that he kills both the living and the Infected with no emotion but at the same time he's trying to protect his people. As much as I like him, Madison will probably put him down by the end of the season.

Earlier this year or late last year I heard & redd the rumor or leak that "Troy" didnt actually die at the dam & was returning to FtWD season 5 somehow like "Salazar" is. Then just a few weeks ago I'm hearing that was all made up, yet in a interview I saw a producer with their own mouth say it was true. In addition he didnt appear in any of the trailers and sneak peeks of yet. So does anybody know what the real ding dong truth is? I'm gonna hold and say he's a hold out surprise for the season, hopefully a more in depth role than "Morales" did in TWD. 🤞
Just to add for fun "Walker", "J Dawg", "the Proctor Gang" and dare I say "Madison" need find there asses back to the FtWD storyline. If they can merge "Morgan" & "Dwight" with reemergence of "Salazar" they should be creative enough to revisit season 3 MIA alum!

Troy was great. Man, I wonder how Chris and Troy would of gotten along. They were villain like characters. This show fell into the same poison TWD did. Killing off their best characters in the first 4-5 seasons :(.
