Thank you so much for this tutorial! I learned so much! I have crocheted tons of amigurumi but have just learned how to knit. I call him my blood, sweat and tears teddy because it was challenging, but I learned so many new things by doing this. Learned M1R, M1L, SSk, how to put stitches on a holder. So much. I really appreciate you taking the time to show all of this!

Thank you so much, not only for the pattern (which my grandchildren love) but also for your clear demonstration. Whenever I became stuck, I simply paused the video, watched for a second---or third!---time, and then resumed knitting. You taught me an invaluable method of knitting in the round, seamlessly.

This is such a clever pattern. I'm amazed at how you worked all the shaping into one continuous piece. It was a joy to knit! Thanks, Julie for the great pattern.

Thank you I have made many charity bears ... hands straight out from body. I discovered how to add raglan arms Hooray. I am visually challenged so sewing is messy. I need knitting in round. What I love is the snout without sewing ! Then to add the ability to sit down you are a goddess! How you knit is not as important as what you designed or reimagined . Thank you I went to ravelry and purchased your pattern to really thank you for your work. I am a yankee so translate frugal but you are worth it Thank you

Thank you so much for the very detailed video. I saw the pattern when I was a novice knitter but didn’t have heart to try, now that I have some experience of m1r etc, I enjoyed a lot knitting my own bear. :-) To be honest I should have just tried because your instruction is so detailed and very clear. I made total 9 bears now and the number keeps increasing. I bought the pattern as a very small Thank you. :)

I decided last night to start knitting, and I was able to follow your instructions so far and I really enjoy this video! The most I've done before this is a square, so I'm super grateful of this video+ the pattern which was written amazingly. I'm at the 50 minute mark so far and I'm looking forward to the rest

Just finished my first bear using 4 ply sock wool and your pattern on 2 .5 mm needles I knit tight so it is fine! He looks lovely thank you for an amazing pattern with circulars! Almost no sewing up! Maybe he is a little smaller than if I used DK yarn - I am UK , so I am going to use DK yarn and 4mm needles for the jumper and your fab pattern. Thanks for your detailed video too, otherwise I would have been stuck!
    Many thanks!

Since I am making this bear for a little girl,I wanted it to look more like a girl bear so when I knit the vest I made it longer for a dress and instead of the ribbed edge I did a picot cast off. It is very cute and “fancy”.

This is amazing. Your directions are so clear, and the video is such good quality. I loved watching you knit the whole bear and can't wait to make my own. I also knit with the yarn in my left hand. It's nice to watch you doing that.

I am an advanced beginner knitter and thought that I could handle this pattern. I was right until I got to the ears. After 4 hours and way too many attempts to get the ears to look like yours (specifically the beginning and ending yarns on the same round), I gave up. I threaded the beginning yarn (which was at the top of the ear) on my tapastry needle and brought it to the bottom to match the other. I have no idea what you did to get it to be that way, but at least I was able to tie the ends together. Initally, I was going to make three of these as gifts. I'll go find something a little easier for the other two bears. On a scale of 1-5 I would rate the bear, except for the ears, a 5. The ears would be rated a 1.

Could I use double points needles for this pattern? I don't have 3.5 circular needles. I do have 4 mm circulars maybe I could use those?

Am I missing any directions on converting this pattern to DPN's ?
I would be able to do it except where it says "knit to end of needle"... Is there a written DPN pattern available ???

I learned to knit with circular needles from a you tube video by nervous knitter. She has the knitting needle to be used on the top though so I had to change it to be the bottom needle as here, which is actually easier. I got it eventually, before attempting things like this, I did a beanie hat or two!
