I used to have a Triang doll house back in the late fifties early sixties, I loved it and it had lights in it worked by batteries,I wish I still had it. I have a Robert Stubbs house now and I’m dressing it in a 1940s war years theme.
Lisa, I really like how you present your content. I also love Triang houses but don't have one. Your idea of using 1:24 items in a 1:16 house makes the rooms look larger and, as you say, more wonderful pieces can inhabit the space.
I just purchased my first Triang house - from eBay! I’m so excited! It’s being shipped across the pond and should be here in 2 weeks! I have a large 1:12 house that I found at a local thrift store years ago and am really enjoying the process of decorating and renovating it, etc. But as you said, room/space is a real issue, so I’m thrilled to get the little Triang! I have a feeling there may be more in my future! Thanks for video! Kathleen
Thankyou for the Tri-ang video Very interesting I don’t have a Tri-ang but yes they are cute I do have several dolls houses from Victorian to modern day I find them all adorable xxxxx
Hi Lisa. I have just renovated my childhood Triang 1930s dollshouse 1:16 scale which was in my parents loft. I won another 1940s Triang house recently on eBay. This is 1:12 scale.
I've been wondering what size furniture and accessories fit in the Traing houses and you answered that today. I was on Ebay today and saw several of your beloved Tootsie Toy items. They are so cute!❤
These Triang are my favorite too, I have the smaller version of yours, not sure of the model number. It took quite a while to locate one in the U.S., they’re not that common here. Mine is jam packed too with lots of tiny treasures.
I actually got mine from Deb at Doll House Delemma’s I just love it. My other English house is a GeeBee and I bought that from the UK as well. Certainly during that time period is Canadians and you Americans were all playing with tin dollhouse’s which aren’t nearly as cool in my opinion lol
I bought some mini 1:48 scale room settings. Maybe you have seen them-they are packaged on cardboard. I don’t have a house for that size (yet). Do you have a DH that size or any suggestions on how to display them? Thanks just love watching all your videos.
Thanks so much for the back story on these beautiful houses. So much fun!!!
I would love to have a tri-ang ! Thank you for sharing x

Well the nice thing about Triang is you can still easily find them :) I bet your house is sweet. I love 1940s

I just made a 1:48 scale house from a dollar store house. There are tons of 1:48 scale house kits online though
I love these houses but don't own one yet. I'm hoping to find one with period papers inside
