It's weird to think that we have had 3 world famous stadiums throughout the clubs history and on top of that we have been firsts in many major pieces of English and world football.

Do you know if they are going to be painting the concrete on top of the lower roof, the grey colour looks a bit rubbish. Some parts where the air ducts on the corners are black and look better ?

I'd like to see a bit of stained glass at the north and south stands ,celebrating legends and history of the club /city and international players colours reflecting with the sunshine and water ?

That would be awesome but I think we'd be restricted on what we could put on there with the size of the panels and everything, I think if we did vinyl overlays on the glass we could definitely do something like that though.

That area under the South Stand seating seems a bit of a waste of space …… is there not something planned for that ?
The reflection of the Mersey is beautiful.
Are we still going ahead with the spikes in the seats in the away section and the leak in the roof above it ?😃😃

@@tonywhitby6881 apparently for safety reasons we can't do alot with that space, I would expect lighting of some sort at least would be great.
The away stand has noise dampening and mini teasers built all over it to keep them from enjoying the stadium too much. Also the away dressing room is a like for like of the goodison away dressing room.

@@SchoolOfScienceTV yeah I thought of that ,be a lot cheaper like, and changeable. Also after realizing the barrels are actually perforated, is there a solid buffer between the barrels and seats ? Goodison top balcony is one of the coldest places I've experienced, especially when the north east wind ( all the way from the urals )blows but a stadium on the waterfront will be positively Siberian.

Stained glass and vinyl overlays not allowed due to heritage status of the docks.
That’s why the ‘EVERTON’ sign originally planned for the south stand exterior glass had to be removed because Historic England and the council objected.
The barrel cladding will provide protection from the wind and rain despite being perforated on the outside.
