I met Mylon in 1983 at the Son festival in Myrtle Beach South CarolinaI had a private one one conversation with him he is the real deal.He had the love and peace of our Lord flowing out of him .he is such a blessing.
I met him at a church in Roanoke Virginia in 2016, him and Christy were so friendly and I bought several CDs their music is awesome! I even bought one of their hats "The Just Shall Live by Faith!"
Your concert was the first concert that i attended! It was amazing, loud and you performed with sunglasses on. Peer pressure is one of the hardest things to overcome as a teen, I allowed other teens to cause me to listen to Christian music in secret. God finds us no matter how lost we are or how far we run from him; thank God for his Grace and Mercy! Thank you for introducing me to Christian Rock, your concert I will never forget.
Good memories. I have been praying for a radio station that offers more than the predictable top artists and instead goes back in time, the way rock stations offer the best of the 70' and 80's. All this music is lost on the new generation, unless us old folks point the way to these videos. Let's get it done.
I've loved this band since first hearing their live album back in 1984...and that album is INCREDIBLE!!! Then, a few years later I became friends with the promoter who brought most of the Christian rock bands to Connecticut. As a result, I got to meet and even work with many bands, including the amazing Mylon LeFevre & Broken Heart! They arrived in the morning and my friend and I helped them unload the truck (the one in this video) and set up the stage. That afternoon as we all broke for lunch, my friend and I got to sit with them and chat...such great guys! Down to earth and very friendly. Then later that night, after the show we helped them tear down and put it all back in the truck...they had a very precise system for the exact order and placement of each and every item that went on the truck (sort of like Tetris). They then headed out for the next stop on their tour and my friend and I headed home with a new lifetime memory to cherish. I sure do miss those days!
Well here's the confusing part, where you stated: "Then, a few years later I became friends with the promoter who brought most of the Christian rock bands to Connecticut."
I love this band back in the day! Not to brag, but I did get to roadie for them and the newsboys! We had Navajo taco's for dinner, except Mylon would not participate or sign autographs, he didn't want any of the glory going to him. Album back then was Crank it up!
As a young adult ...I thought bands like this was the Max ....and for Teens and Adults these were encouraging to help break away from the grip of this world ..and mm Repent and Turn to the Lord .but now after 40 years and then some ...I find that to . truly to.. ....HEED THE CALL ...is always going deeper into Jesus Christ as the hand of the enemy becomes more prevalent with ploys and deceptions .... May God be Truly Honored and Glorified .. . through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that works within the elect
I remember trying to video tape their concerts back in the day. Always would get a tap on my shoulder telling me to stop. Crazy. Fast forward to now, I wonder if they would still tell everyone with a video camera to stop with all the cell phone cameras. A couple of weeks ago I practically video taped the entire SKILLET concert with great success. It was allowed! No signs, no warnings. hmm. Anyway, always loved this song. Telling my daughter who Mylon's daughter is married to. :-)
I looked this video up again today because Milan is on my mind now at age 78 and struggling with serious health issues. What an influence you were on me as a teenager you and Christy are in my thoughts and prayers
I saw your performance in Olongapo City, Philippines. You sound great..good music and made me buy your cassette tape. I didn't care about the preaching, though i was baptized by the Holy Spirit... 20 years after that concert! God is good!
Definitely a Blast from the past! I Love it. Blunt and Straight to the point. Awesome! Praise God! Blessings upon you my brother to you, your wife, your family! Stay safe. Our father is watching over us!
Saw you guys @ the "Crack The Sky" concert in Fort Wayne, In. Life changing, all those secular concerts and then to go to a concert where the band encouraged you to come forward for prayer and ministry...thanks Mylon, GOD bless brother. CHRISTian music helped to change my life and to live for the KING!!
I saw the Look UP Big World tour in Lindsay Ontario Canada in 1989. It was at a Catholic School in the Auditorium which was more like a theater at the end when there was an alter call, 2 nuns who taught there went forward and gave their lives to the Lord.
Kayleigh tell him I appreciate his work and influence and wonderful inspiration. GOD BLESS.... we miss him in music but knows he's doing God's work Mark Anthony Stephens
So many wonderful memories while watching this video! Thank you so much for posting it. I caught Mylon and band in concert several times in the eighties up here in Canada while doing Christian radio....then again a few times at Creation. Mylon and band were 'what you see is what you get'.... always pleasant and willing to talk to reporters, radio dj's and fans alike...and they actually listened and had eye contact! Wonderful to know they are still serving Jesus and and HIs people
mylon ,to me he was wise, up front person ,to set with him with other people he was cool to talk to ,thanks for this memory of tuff passion today we dont have like it now days
I miss Mylan and Broken Heart. Any chance of a tour??? The Rolling Stones are 80 and still tour. Please, please, brother you know you are still a Rock Star and we need more Jesus to save the world!
The guy in the solo frame looks a little like Bob Hartman, but it's not him. However, in the same shot as Russ Taff, the camera pans over to Randy Thomas from The Allies. Bob Carlisle can be seen at 3:17.
Jesus finished it at the cross. He paid our debt to sin in full. Our sins are already forgiven by Him. We just have to believe they already are. That's the good news of our salvation. We are sealed. We cannot do it of ourselves because of what He has already done. God hates sin, so if we are in sin, we cannot stand before Him. He will not see the blood of His son on us. We will slip up at times but the Gospel of Paul, tells us that we are forgiven. It doesn't give us the opportunity to willingly sin. If we know it is a sin, we know not to do it. Praise God for His mercy and grace even though we are not worthy.
Christian bands in those days were more alive and more creative at that time .These bands attracted the non Christians and christian at that time it was called ministry. Now a days christian bands can only get Christians to come our and watch them not creative enough anymore
Saw them in concert in the 80s so greatfull God called him back to minister through music🙌🙌🙌🙌
Still love this song 35 years later!! I was saved at Mylons concert in 1988‼️✝️📖🙏🏼🙌🏼🎶
Remember them Playing This in 1988 at ...Mt. Union ... CREATION FEST ...

This song gets right to the message. It's fun to watch them set up for the concert.
I saw the Look UP Big World tour in Lindsay Ontario Canada in 1989. It was at a Catholic School in the Auditorium which was more like a theater at the end when there was an alter call, 2 nuns who taught there went forward and gave their lives to the Lord.

Love Mylon and Broken Heart!
It's either black or white, don't look for gray...
One of my favorite M&BH songs!!! Did I see Bob Hartman and Russ Taff in this video (around 3:06)? Is that Dann Huff on guitar?
The guy in the solo frame looks a little like Bob Hartman, but it's not him. However, in the same shot as Russ Taff, the camera pans over to Randy Thomas from The Allies. Bob Carlisle can be seen at 3:17.
That is a roadie not Bob Hartman. I did not realize that was Carlisle with the beard.

yeah today's bands record Industry is own bye the world
Modern Christian music sounds just like modern "country music". Modern country music has got to be the worst music I have ever heard!
Blah blah today's bands suck blah blah. There is still great Christian music being made if you look around for it.
Them and David and the Giants.
Was that Russ Taff in the Video??
i was just in my teen s
Did I see Russ Taff?
+Mr. Eous yes that was Russ Taff, also Bob Hartman from Petra, not sure of the others. Maybe David Payton knows.
Nebraska Frank
This whole thing was just an experiment to see how many mullets they could get into one video.
😆😂🤣🤣🤣
