Great video! Im not sure if that part of the line features the Glasgow Central to London Euston part but 390 107 (Independence Day) and 390 151 (Business Is Great) were all on that line at some point on Saturday, I think they were 40 mins and 1hr 40 mins behind 390 104 (Alstom Pendolino), as I said great video!
...about tones...yes, I hear a slight difference in almost each passing train. Probably a unique signature not unlike a ship's prop noise as detected by a submarine...
Hi mate, I was planning on visiting this location. Could you tell me how you got there, ie did you park and then walk? If so how do you get here from the road? Thank You :)
Hello! I'm a trainee journalist in London and am interested in including a shot from this video in a film. Can I ask: did you film the footage and may we use some of it in our documentary? I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Philip.
First comment and first thumb-up; love these vids! Can you or others explain to me why those Desiros have those odd warbling sounds when starting or stopping? It's unique to them but I don't know why...
Extremely nostalgic watching this from when I was younger! 👍
Excellent video, so surreal to see my own train, I was the driver of the freightliner 66 at 11:00

It's their traction motors :)
Whats the limit on the slow lines?
Rio Gonzales'xo I think 110mph
jacob nope 100 but some parts dos 110
Cool ;)
Yay first.
Also what's the line speed there?
125 on the fast lines for anything that can tilt.
Ok. I was kind of curious because living in Australia the trains don't go faster than 160 KM/H (100 MPH)
ive been there
