The one thing I miss about the old CrossFit games is all of the different backgrounds of the athletes. We’re now getting into the next Gen CrossFit athletes where they’ve been training specifically for the games from a young age. Maybe they’ll do a multidisciplinary background category someday where you have to have been a professional in some sort of other sport prior to starting CrossFit!
Fantasy cuz his leg with the chip was crossed first... hendrens leg without chip finished first but the one with the chip was behind bailey... poor hendren xD he WAS quicker xD
@@funnyyking6439 hendren has the chip on his left leg (51:02) and that is the leg that crosses the finish line first (50:34). what is the tolerance on that sensor system?
Im so confused is it the two red pins in the end thats the finish or the lines ._. Some people like rush through the two red pins thinking the race is over while others drive through the line lol ._.
Maddox slowed down after going rhrough the two pile ons. Otherwise he wouldve been top three easy. Wonder if they clarified about the line being the goal.
Everyone else understood the line signalled the end of the race. To be fair, I don't see why it would be clarified, I have never in my life seen a race where there is a physical line at the end of where the race is held and something else was used to signify the end, that would be confusing to everyone. It has never been done in the games so, it was a mistake on the athletes part for sure, adrenaline can affect your decision making and unfortunately you do still need to use your brain and not just your muscles. A lot of runners do this thinking they have more room to breathe and it is just daft really, so he may have known where the end was in the moment, even at the Olympics you see runners do this.
crossfit gets you ripped in no time. its great workout. but i cant beat myself to watch it on tv. rather watch snooker, golf or even bass fishing than crossfit.. it just doesnt feel right..
when i was in jail there were these guys doing a static workout that only consisted of lieing flat on the ground. getting up, doing squats, doing the abs, they did it everywhere in the rec yard, in the cells. they only got the regular diet, and you don't get much food in jail. they looked super ripped. that was in 2006 tho. so you don't need much space to workout really. nor expensive instruments.
+Raw Powerlifting Strength Its funny how obvious it is that you are clueless and jealous of people working hard over a long period of time to get results. You probably expect to look jacked after a month of training, and everyone who looks great is on something. To sum it up: You suck
oh I suck? lol I dont do drugs at least, and I dont hide behind a fake troll account named Proto. Aight, I can suck, but you will forever be delutional !
+Raw Powerlifting Strength it's delusional*, my boy. -Also, most of these guys are ex-college athletes - so their body types are to be expected from a decade+ of physical training. Maybe you should look in the mirror before calling people "delusional". Food for thought.
well, it has happened, I have finally witnessed someone spell delusional "delutional"...maybe spend less time working out and less time arguing about who's on steroids and go back to elementary school.
yeah it's pretty obvious their chip timers were just shit...and the scores for this event all got changed the next day messing with the standings, likely cause they realized they got it all wrong

now they are all ex gymnasts. boring
its awesome watching Dan Bailey sprint!
The best event at the crossfit games
Michael Mogard . . . Way to push brother.
Dan Bailey is my fav
Great event, but what were they thinking when they decided to use a chip attached to one of the legs..
This workout has to be one of my favorite... Seeing as Football is my favorite sport, Hell yeah.
Michel mogard is crazy I love him
Hendren won that... that's ridiculous.
no, he didn't
3:34 !!!!!!
Philipp Jainz - should have gone to specsavers...
Dear lord Bailey is fast as hell he even slow down at the end!
So many half naked muscle hunks running around....exactly like one of my dreams!
Wait how did Bailey win that? It looked like Hendren finished a step before
Fantasy cuz his leg with the chip was crossed first... hendrens leg without chip finished first but the one with the chip was behind bailey... poor hendren xD he WAS quicker xD
+Fantasy They reviewed it and ended up giving it to Hendren. Chips got it wrong on that one.
Because they put the chip on their ankles, incredibly stupid.
There should be a chip on each ankle, each linked to a common target....

Drink everytime Bill Grundler says "Wow"
We need to test this again on today's athletes.
The Hendren and Bailey situation is the same thing with Jeff Evans and Neal Maddox.
why does he keep saying pyleen its pylon
asap kozi these are life hackers. i'm surprised they didn't create their own language.
love Brandon swan
Hendren should've won that, even the guy commentating was a bit confused lol
truc de fou !

+VideosAreDrugs the lines probably. I think the red things are there so they know where to run to
Bailey beat Hendren by foot n the final. The leg chip was a silly mistake. The 11.3 athlete eliminated in the prelims was also silly.

All the ties went to the man with the first last name alphabetically. That's why the scores later changed.

YESSS
Really?! announcers exaggerating much? he didn't pull both his hamstrings or he wouldn't be able to jog let alone run.
where is Fraser ?
His first games appearance was in 2014
It clearly was Hendren
why most of crossfit guys are without a T-shirt?
cause it's mid summer in california and they don't want to die from overheating
i think cuz when you're doing a lot of movements like muscle ups or handstand pushups shirts bind n get in the way
wow
If he did slip he would have won for sure
5:46 So awkward
Sean Lonsdale not rly.. he sees it and turns back to remedy it
If he Didn't slip
47:00 what a bullshitter lol, acting like he pulled his hammy yet he’s out there literally sprinting.
its funny how obvius it is that they all are on something, especially the best ones, jacked

lol
damn chips..
That's bull crap Bailey came in second
At the end of quarterfinals heat 4, they were sure showing a lot of severely pale white dudes.
How was Castro ever the CrossFit CEO with that skinny fat body of his?
4 people doing the same time on the thousand of a second... yeah sure
+Postermaestro more like tenth of a second lmao.. very possible
+nudope 37:21
Postermaestro i stand corrected. Didn't watch that far into the video.
nudope no worries
yeah it's pretty obvious their chip timers were just shit...and the scores for this event all got changed the next day messing with the standings, likely cause they realized they got it all wrong
Bad motherfuckers, but that's some ugly running :)
