As someone born in Edinburgh, I loved weather like this it added to the city's charm. And there is no such thing as bad weather in Scotland, you"re just not wearing the right cloths.
Shame the mist didn't lift, it hid so much from you. The view of the castle as you come out of Waverley station or from Princes Street is worth seeing, as is the whole skyline of the auld toon. Likewise, the view of Arthur's Seat and the Salisbury Crags from Holyrood was hidden from you. Other than the weather, I have two apologies to make, firstly all those pipers. I love the pipes and drums but there's just too many street performers. Second, that parliament building thing. Back when that area was my daily beat, there was a huge Scottish & Newcastle brewery on that site. It looked much better than the monstrosity that's there now. Main thing is you both enjoy yourselves.
Thanks for the comment & for watching my videos. Do you mean me to personally visit or is it just a general question if so yes you can visit, if you mean me no we were only there for 2 days

Yes it was certainly atmospheric in the mist, we really enjoyed our day out there 👍
Great video. What was the name of the place that you stopped at for the coffee and cake?
