There's a few other artists in that category, like Ill Bill, Necro, Goretex & dudes like that. But I totally agree, that Vinnie's at the top of that list. He's spit alongside some of the G.O.A.T.'s, like Kool G Rap, Scarface, Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah & dudes like that. And he either spit verses that were at least equally as dope, if not better. He definitely out-rapped Ghostface Killah on the track he did with him, on his last solo album.

I honestly don't think we'll get another AOTP for another 2-3 years. All the members are super busy and I asked Apathy and Celph on a livestream if they had anything in the works and he said no.
Esoteric is doing his thing with Czarface, Outerspace i haven't heard anything new from them in like 4 years, King Magnetic doing his own thing with solo albums, and the rest of them I haven't heard much from.
