HackTheBox is way harder than Vulnhub and TryHackMe. But Some Vulnhub machines are pretty hard and great! But some are too focused to CTF style while hackthebox is generalized and more interesting.
What are your thoughts on the security benefits of TailsOS, QubesOS versus Kali, parrot or Ubuntu ? Keeping in mind that parrotOS and Ubuntu are harder to verify the digital signature (for authenticity)
I’ve heard that the only difference between Kali and ParrotOS are the tools that are installed. QubesOS separates tasks by running separate VMs. I’m not sure about Tails only that it can be ran on a portable device so it wouldn’t track anything. I know it uses the TOR browser, which masks where the traffic is coming from. Hope this helps!
Feedback guys- ok I am 35 yr old welder/machinist. Bought my first laptop 3 about 3 years ago. Granted I code CNC but I'm Making a career change. I TRY HARD!!!! But within this sector of IT and rapid technological innovation trying harder is NOT the way! I think we should attack this situation with more mentorship & apprenticeship. Machinist have mentors. I agree a blend is needed but telling us n00bs to try harder I don't think will help out industry. Many of these kids had laptops in HS and learned within classes where they has classmates to ask questions. Where as myself. I'm alone. So i may get stuck and IM TRYING HARD FOR 2 WEEKS! 😀😉🖤🌹 ✍🙏🖤🌹 I try harder than probably most people. So I have tenacity and I don't give up. But I can see how that would deter many people which is why our industry has such a low number of people.
@@davidbombal I think they are slowly from my personal experience. After all I didn't walk up to a CNC and TRIED HARD than all sudden I knew how to run and program it. Rather I had a master teacher take me under his wing. I'm a n00b here but I'm into teaching and helping this sphere become better. Love your videos! Yes but also no well you, see currently there isnt that much of vulnerabilities in operating systems currently you have 3 options an old os to practice on or a sort of a ctf but they are mostly websites bec there may be vulnerabilities in them or sometime some sort of a wordlist attack

Oh yeah the htb academy is great. Some of the lessons are SUPER hard though.

Yes but also no well you, see currently there isnt that much of vulnerabilities in operating systems currently you have 3 options an old os to practice on or a sort of a ctf but they are mostly websites bec there may be vulnerabilities in them or sometime some sort of a wordlist attack
