I just got the breakbeat bible by Mike Adamo and it’s very interesting as it approaches breakbeats form the point of view of hip hop rather than jungle/dnb. It’s interesting how everything’s ties back to some of the same classic breaks and elements. Tempo, swing, and samples seem to be the thing that differentiates hip hop beats from dnb grooves. You should play the same pattern as dnb and make a comparison video 😁
Yes, you are right. Basically these kind of beats can be hip hop, breakbeat, dnb, jungle, depending on the tempo and the sound. I have a video where I play amen breaks in different tempos, that's kind of a comparison of them, check it out on my channel!
I really want to make a trap remix of a song I really like but I don't have the resources to download more than a couple DAWs on my computer so I have to settle for downloading instrumentals and messing with them in Audacity. I needed a clean catchy beat that was 105 bpm, and I searched all over YT for it. So thank you for making this! (I'm also really glad that it's not just the same thing over and over again.) Anyways, I hope it's okay if I use this beat in my remix? I will give credit in the description and everything! (Although I might modify it a bit and combine it with some other sounds.) Again, thank you so much for making this!

Mind if I sample this on a guitar video? I'll tag you in the description.
You can use it! And also you can get the audio from Patreon if you want, the link is in the description for that. 🙌
Man, I sampled this, I have to admit!!!! So dope
Any jazz drumming in the near future?
That’s not in the plans, i’m focusing on electronic music genres. I have some electro swing loops on my channel, check those out :)
Love ya. 🥰
