      Aurelian Tihi,
      You are right. This obnoxious kid is going to be really good. The first 2 games, Harimoto handled Xu Xin's service correctly. But he could not adapt to the service variations and I would say that he got to learn to steadily counter instead of trying to kill every shot. He over pressured himself to attack Xu Xin's serves.

      I think he played well, He didn't have a good start but he was able to stay strong in the second set to win, and changing his play to more short pushes and more spin on his loops made it difficult for Tomokazu , And I know he was antsy in the Sixth set when Tomokazu cut down the big advantage but who doesn't need luck , At least Harimoto had lucky edge points in the earlier sets, Xu Xin's one lucky point came at the right time

    Never liked Harimoto.
    As a player, I respect him. I have watched some videos of him training and I can see that he is working really hard to achieve his goals.
    His screams are indeed annoying. But this isn't the reason we dislike him. His desire to win is too strong, so strong that I feel like he never learns to appreciate the game and his opponents. Probably due to his age, and also the fact that he was brought up with such a mentality... I have watched him play a lot but I can't say I respect him as an athlete. There were many occasions where his opponents made some beautiful shots, yet instead of being congratulatory, he looked more deflated. Like if his praise and applause were only reserved for himself. I guess this is what contributed to his crazy screams.
    (as a comparison, see how Gauzy reacted when FZD played a superb shots)
    But it is hard to put the blame on him. Maybe this is really the way he was brought up - growing up with high intensity trainings and always put under competitive environment. And not to menton the attentions he receives so much from the media and the intense pressure and hopes from his country people. My lord, He is just 15!
    He is so young and already so successful. Who are we to judge?
    But I just hope one day he realises that most people in table tennis don't see him as an enemy, but instead a buddy to play and improve with, a place for healthy competition, not a war zone. Your scream would be much likeable, if you can scream for someone's beautiful shots too.

    The problem with Harimoto's incessant screaming is that there are usually other matches going on. You think other pro players want to hear that in the middle of any important point? I don't think so. At my club I maybe do it once or twice in a night and we play for 3 hours, and thats only after I win an amazing point or long rally. Otherwise, I stay quiet. It's about respect.

    About Harimoto screamings, there is no problem. He can scream more as he likes. It should be accepted in sport. But by the other reason, I think that administrators should warn Harimoto, that the volume of screamings is needed to small enough. The problem is not in Harimoto matches, and is not trick of annoying opponents. Once, i watched youtube ITTF clips of matches without Harimoto. But i frequently heard exactly the screaming Harimoto, very clearly. At first I was so surprised. After some minutes, I find out, that these matches were recorded at places, which are near to the other matches of Harimoto at the same times. So i think, that, Harimoto screams in off-game time, does not bother his opponents. But sometimes, others players plays in neighbor tables to Harimoto, can be affected. Because it is on-game time in others tables.

    ITTF should stop players "over screaming" as part of the game plan. It is not normal for players to scream in every single point won. Just so irritating and annoying to both audiences and opp player. ITTF should promote fair game and raise standard in players behaviors. I believe that Pro Tennis Association had similar behavioral issues managed in the past.

    • @K543
      @K543 5 років тому

      Respectful lol, you have to search for a better example than Xu Xin. His usual delay tricks when he feels in danger to disrupt his opponent is a poor example, it isn't respectful, poor stuff from Xu Xin

      @@K543 Well, let's say for a minute that I agree with you that Xu Xin does that in order to take his opponent out of tempo when losing.... How in this world can that be compared with all this barking from this Barkimoto???

    • @K543
      @K543 5 років тому

      @@CesarGonzalez-ru1yd It isn't comparable, the primary question is why someone is blaming Harimoto and at the same time praising Xu Xin for his good sportmanship which clearly isn't the case. Harimoto does not disrupt the opponents serve, Xu Xin does with his excessive delay to break the rhythm, it's an unsportsmanship dirty win against a kid.

      @@K543 Hey buddy, if you wanna say it's the same, it's up to you... Xu Xin is one of the most serious athletes of this sport... Barkimoto is just screaming to everyone even when he's 2-2 on the first set... That's just plain annoying and against any sportmanship.

    • @K543
      @K543 5 років тому

      @@CesarGonzalez-ru1yd No it isn't the same, it is way worse from Xu Xin! Harimoto may be annoying to you but one thing is clear, he never cho's to his opponent, he is looking down at the ground usually and another big difference, he cho's when the point is over! He never disrupts his opponent when he starts his serve preparation, it isn't comparable therefore, this excessive delay tactics from Xu Xin is way worse and there is a rule (#3.4.4.1 ) against it! This is a rude unsportsmanlike behavior from an adult experienced player, a big shame.
