First Contact to 1885. This segment begins with the early settlement of the islands. It goes on to illustrate the impact of those who came from Europe and the US: early Spanish explorers and priests, British indiaman traders, whalers, beachcombers, missionaries, and copra traders. It examines their contribution, both positive and negative, to island life today.

Most of the old religion throughout Micronesia is documented through anthropology research.I'm writing a book on it of who our old gods were and pretty much the entire mythology.
When these Neanderthals came were th there Christian beliefs they saw how ancient our religions were so therefore jealousy pursued to get rid of them....irony for people who preach love and peace when really they wanted these sacred traditions and beliefs to die out.
Now it's making a comeback lol.

But you’ll find people that still practice black magic from back then,it sadly still used and people can die or get taken advantage of. That still used today in the islands. I wouldn’t recommend anyone messing with a chuukese that knows how to use that old shit.if they get you, I don’t even know what gonna happen to you or anyone. Just warning ⚠️ tho
