I love these videos and seeing how other people experience different places when they travel. Loved seeing the different knick knacks Rembrandt collected and your thoughts on the Anne Franke house and the paper doll story. So bittersweet/heartbreaking to see those little details.

I have a fun fact about the half-peeled lemon on the painting at 5:10. Painters used to paint the lemon with way too much peal, to show off their skills with yellow paint (which was considered the most difficult color to shade with. That’s why the peal is so disproportionally long!

It’s very nice to see you in the Netherlands!! You should go to the city Utrecht some day, It’s my favorite city in the Netherlands (I also grew up here haha). It has the same architecture and canals as Amsterdam, but it’s a bit smaller and less touristic :) and you’ve got the domtower and the miffy museum over there! ❤️
