I’m running into some of the same issues you’ve had in the past when you took apart your rolls royce, I have a 1969 silver shadow that blew out a spark plug I took the head off and had it machined, now I’m in the process of putting it back Together I’m so close to being done but some of the lines is confusing the living hell out of me I try to use your videos as a touch base to see where some of those lines could be connected to

It's a little complex. The 69 may be sell so because it does not have all the emissions lines that the later cars do.

If you Google RR technical info, it has a link to all the manuals for SY and early SZ cars. This seems to be the best source for diagrams

Would you have the Ford part #? This is an excellent resource for anyone who has the Chysler system! Does the temperature regulate correctly with the temperature wheel ?

I believe that the part # is F87Z-18495-AA. The temperature regulates fine now. Remember this replaces the Mercedes, VAG. Porsche heater valve that was used in place of the ACC2 servo with the digital unit so that unit will need to be retrofitted.

@@aalabbasi GREAT! I'm looking for a 1980 Mercedes 300SD which used the same system. Now, I have an answer if needed!

What is the specific year or range for that Ford part? Do you have the part number by chance? I would very much like to do the exact same thing for my 79 450SLC.

I posted the part # in response to another question. If you search by part #, the internet will provide compatibility. Thanks

Hi Al. I am doing a 450SLC right now, despite the heat and humidity in Queensland.

I have only ever seen one of those US air cons here, and it was on a W116 450SE imported decades ago from California. I am going to source those Ford heater valves here, we have had rangers for years in OZ. So finding a valve like that is the best option .

Ron, It's good to hear from you and I'm glad that this helps you've helped me so often in the past. I have a Euro 350SLC and a Euro 450SLC 5.0 that both have this ACC2 system. I believe that it was an option on ROW cars, but not a popular one.

Ron, I just took at look at your site. Beautiful work. I wish I had someone like you that I trusted here in Texas for my pagoda.
