I grew up NE corner of LSC. Still get out in summer for some yella bellies and wallseyes in the summer. Spend my winters in SW florida. If any of you smallie guys knew what an equal size red or snook was like, you all would be selling your houses, your boats and possibly your children, wives, and your souls to dance with those fish. They are amazing. Those 30 inch plus will crush your soul. Forget about getting a 40 inch snook to the boat. They are just going to laugh at you. I know. I do it. Come in defeated more often than not.
Never been fishing for snook or redfish. However, my friends and I are doing a trip in October for those very species, so I love hearing that!
@@Hogsnacks Very cool, what area are you heading to? In October the water is still warm enough that they will still be up on the beaches. Hope you have a great time and post some video.
@@randomjackson574 Not sure of the area yet just know it's in the works. We do a guys trip and a buddy is in charge of it. I think Panama City Beach is where but not positive. Thanks for watching!
@@Hogsnacks My one recomendation is use live bait. You are only there for a short time, most effective way. Artificial baits are my go to, but i have alot of time to waste chasing fish, you are short timing, use live bait. Hopefully you are getting a local guide, the extra money will make your trip so much better. even if its just for 1 day.
